Once upon a time

There were three girls
Future, Present, and Past.
Their mother was Time. Their father was Space. The family ruled the world and controlled the systems.
The way the sun would turn.
The way the moon would rise.
The way people could remember some things and forget others for better or worse.
They kept the world in balance.

But soon the people began thinking more and overthinking can lead to problems.
They began thinking more of Future
They studied Last
Ignored Present
Future grew and Past fell to textbooks.

Present, however, shrank. She fell back into the back of people's heads. The back of their worries. Only certain people would be able to capture her for a split second. But it wouldn't last because she had grown so minimal and so difficult to catch.
Her mother and father traveled around in fame. Everyone cared about time and space. But when they led on their busy lives, they forgot their daughter Present, along with the people. Busy with their other daughters.
She became more of a bother than anything to anyone else. Everyone seemed to forget about her and yet she didn't give up hope. She knew one day someone would realize the beauty of living in the moment.

Living in the present
A child grew in her. Literally living in the present
And her little boy was soon born. Who was he?
Well, he was Love.
