Charles is a nine year old boy who lives with his mother, little sister, older brother and his father. He's an outgoing, happy and cheerful young boy, his sister is sort of shy and his older brother ur very lazy and hot-headed.
His mother is very kind and sweet towards her children, but when it comes to her husband, she's a a bit cold.
Charles rarely had nightmares when he was much smaller and was very brave, he doesn't feel fear most of the time and he feels as though he protects his little sis with his very life everyday.
However, who was there to protect him? His parents were busy all day long, his sister was far too small and his brother was... well, a douche. He disrespected his parents constantly, by cursing at them, throwing things or even trying to hit them.
Charles thought his life was very relaxed until one night. It was dark and foggy, everyone was already asleep, then a sound came out of the kitchen. It was a loud "Thud!". No one noticed, except Charles. He wasn't afraid, he had to protect his family, no matter the danger.
He began to approach the area of the noise, but the further he got, the more he realised this wasn't a fairy tail. He began to shake, sweat and even tremble. "What's this?" He thought "I-I'm not scared... am I?".
He finally reached the kitchen. He saw a massive humanoid figure standing in the fridge. It had purple eyes, big teeth, sharp claws but the most noticeable feature of him was his big ears. They looked like a pair of rabbit ears. Charles tried not to make a noise, but he was petrified at what he was seeing. He couldn't believe it! "How did he got inside?" He said, maybe a bit too loud. The creature turned around to see who made that noise and saw a small boy in front of him. Charles thought he was going to die that night.
He tried to turn back, but it was far too late, the creature had already seen him. He couldn't scream, his whole body was shocked with fear and his voice seemed to have disappeared. The creature began to approach Charles, meanwhile he was trying to hold back his tears. Charles thought that the beast would say something terrifying but instead, he said this:
"G'day mate! D'ya happen to have any carrots her'? I'm hungry as hell!" Said the big, purpleish blue creature.
"U-um..." Charles said, in confusion.
"Oh! I didn't introduce me self! The names Nightmare Bonnie, but call me Bonnie for short! What's yer name?"
"C-Charles... Charles McGregor...."
"Charles, huh? Pretty neat name!" Said Bonnie, in a very happy tone. "Well, d'ya happen to know where the snacks are? I'm hella hungry! How 'bout you?"
Charles thought he misjudged Bonnie; he was very nice!
"Um... the snacks are over there, Mr. Bonnie..."
"GREAT! Thanks mate!"
Bonnie rushed to the other side to grab some food for him and Charles. He turned on the light to see Bonnie entirely. He had a sleeveless shirt, a pair of jeans, some wristbands and a lot of piercings in his ears, though, Charles didn't knew what piercings were at the time. Bonnie grabbed some carrots and Tater Tots for Charles.
"So... I don't wanna sound rude, but ummmm... how'd you get inside my house?"
"Hmmmmmm...... I jumped through one of the open windows! That room was filthy, though."
"Ohhhhh. You got inside because my brother forgot to lock the window! Oh, man, mom's gonna be mad at him."
"Why?" Bonnie said, while stuffing his mouth with carrots.
"Well, he forgets to do that every night, and I think he sneaks out of the house sometimes! Can you believe that?"
"Whaaaaaa? He's crazy, like my bro, Jack!"
"Oh, you have a brother?"
"Two, actually"
"Me too!" Charles said happily.
"Cool!"
They began to have a conversation about their brothers (and little sister) and basically, they became friends for the night.
"Oh, man! It's really late.... I should...probably go.. *yawn* to bed..." Charles said, and fell asleep in Bonnie's lap.
"Awwww, he's tired!"
Bonnie grabbed him and went to put him in bed. He tucked Charles in his bed and gave him a fox plushie he had.
"Hmmmmm.... Maybe I'll bring some other friends to spend the night here... maybe Plushtrap and Chica." Bonnie said, before disappearing in the shadows.
The next morning, Charles was very sleepy, since he spent a lot of time with Mr. Bonnie, but still, he had to go to school.
He woke up his little sister, Angelica, like usual. He was just about to head down stairs, but he saw his brothers door open.
"Mr. Bonnie must have left through here." He thought.
He had breakfast with his family and, as always, Jackson, was late.
"Young man! Why are you here so late?" Asked his father, in a very angry tone.
"Dunno, cuz I hate school? Ugh, I don't wanna go today..." he said, in an arrogant voice.
"No way, Jackson! You are going to school, whether you like it or not!" His father said.
"UGHHHHHHHHH" Said Jackson.
Angelica giggled softly, since she thought it was funny to see his brother complain.
The mother, Aurora, noticed that Charles was very quiet, something he didn't do at all.
"Are you alright, sweetie?" Asked Aurora.
"Oh? Um, yeah, I'm fine, mommy!" He said in a cheerful tone.
But he was not fine; he saw a big, blue rabbit inside the house at night, and no one would believe him if he told them.
