Prologue

The sun rose high over the mountain spreading light across the Agavian valley. The continent of Malindovia was a unique place. The nations that populated it were just as interesting. The Slerian Empire was a large empire located in the central plains of Malindovia. Their king was Frederick William, a ruler who descended from the ancient royal family. To the south stood the Yale Empire, a nation who controlled everything on a boot shaped landmass. Only separated from the Slerian's by a mountain range. Their king was Arany Hajnal. To the south east of Sleria was the Hanate Kingdom, a group who rebelled against the Slerians, some 300 years ago their king ruled under the name of Vasyl Chaudarov. To the westernmost front was the Agavian Kingdom. Where the king Atelic Miracle had two sons. Corey and Beorn twins and each heir to the throne of Agavia. In the northeast of Sleria a rebellion was being fought against the Slerians. These rebels were known as The Legon, lead by Viktor Belic. In the last 250 years 2 new distinct cultures came from boats onto the Continent known as the Netish Kingdom and the Kurvis Khanate. The Netish were led by Bjorn Osulf or Bjorn of the North. The Netish were located in northwestern Malindovia. North of Agavia. Then the Kurvis Khanate were located to the east of Sleria. The ruler of the Khanate was a skilled horseback warrior known as Ganbaatar Khan. Not much was known of either of these two kingdoms other then they came from the sea and captured land.

Chapter 1: Family Troubles

Corey awoke on the chilly April morning approaching his window. The sun was rising but wasn't quite over yet. "The perfect time to wake" thought Corey. Entering the large hallway, which was the Agavian Castle in Agavia. He walked down to the main room and stood in the door. He knew that Kurvis Khanate diplomats were to arrive at mid-day. He needed to be ready. He walked down to the city bakery. Corey was a diplomat through and through he disliked fighting and only promoted war when it was the last option. Then behind him he heard his younger twin brother Beorn run down the stairs of the castle.

"Brother!" said Beorn punching his brother in the arm.

"Are you going to the bakery to meet her?"

"Shush Beorn I am an independent man I do not need to inform you on my daily activities."

Beorn shot him a look of confusion. Then Corey looked at him and said "I'm just playing!" and punched his brother back.

Beorn begun laughing "so you are meeting her. Best hurry she leaves back to Rivahedge soon."

Corey sighed "I know."

"Well I must leave you to your 'duty's'" said Beorn running off.

Beorn was a Warrior his name even translated to Warrior. If Corey was the brains. Beorn was the muscle. Each respected the others work even if they were opposite they even agreed as children that Corey would become king after their father's eventual death. And Beorn would become the leading military leader in the army. The day was an eventful one for the country it was the 75th anniversary of the founding of Agavia by Beorn's and Corey's grandfather the first king of Agavia. Corey had to get the trade deal with the Kurvis Khanate it would go down in history of a historic event where the Agavian's begun trade with the Kurvis which were so far a pretty secluded nation. The Diplomats arrived at the city at about dusk. Their travel was long and Corey wanted them to feel welcome so he immediately offered food and comfort to try and "woo" the diplomats over. Beorn had spent the day at the pub it was his day off today where he would switch out of his "royalty" clothing and act like any other citizen of Agavia. But he could hear some guards talking in the back of the pub he was listening in. Beorn loved gossip ever since he was a kid he could overhear conversations and pass them on but this one was different.
