"Ok c'mon we gotta hurry , they are coming for us....." I told.
The day started as a normal one , just as usual the class was buzzing with loud noise and I could hear some of my friends exclaiming about something. So , I joined them and got to know that our class teacher was absent . Certainly , that's good news...I guess we were having a test that day.We were all so happy and started exclaiming about it.
The prayer just got over and the substitution teacher had just stepped into the class, that was when we heard our principal's fainting voice through the speaker ,"Dear teachers and students, it is an emergency , I repeat , it's a school lockdown. I request all of you to remain calm . Lock the doors and windows and remain silent. They are coming............"
The whole school was terrified and then suddenly, we heard a gunshot through the speaker and then silence...........
The whole class started panicking and right then the teacher left our class and ran out .We were all alone and without a teacher for support.So, me and my friends closed the doors and windows and switched off the lights , tried to remain calm.One of my friend , Joan was crying loudly . We could do nothing except to remain calm......
