I struggled to break the bonds that forced me not to move. Cleo sat against my back, attempting to do the same. Neither of us knew what to do in our situation. Scream? No. It would do nothing. I don't know where we are exactly, but based on what we saw before all of this, we're in the middle of the ocean. A cold ocean. Cleo's black hair landed on my shoulder as she thrashed around to break free.

Our captor, who's name we'd learned prior to the current situation, had walked in holding a few blankets and some bread. "Stay quiet and you'll get out of here quicker than you'd think." He untied the rope and handed us the supplies. I muttered a small "Thank You" to Colson before he left and locked us inside the dark room.

I turned to face my brunette twin, whose face was puffy and red from crying. I hugged her tightly before getting up and making a pallet out of the cozy blankets for her to lay down on. She wraps herself up and falls asleep as I sit in the cold by myself.

It was peaceful. Calm.

Then there was a crash.

There was always a crash.
