I opened my eyes. It took a moment for me to adjust to the blinding light that invaded my eyes. I was laying on a white bed dressed in a white hospital gown. The bed sheets felt rough against my skin and the pillow felt rocky under my head. An I-V was stuck to my arm.

I suddenly sat up ripping the I-V out of my arm, it left a light burn. I was in a white room that was occupied with nothing other than the bed I sat on.

Am I in heaven? I thought to myself.

I stood up and approached the door leading to a hall. There was no room except for mine. Infront of me stretched endless tiles of white leading to the unknown. I started walking the way I thought was forward. The white tiles seemed to lure me. I traced my hand against the white painted walls.

I suddenly felt apprehensive and started to run. The sudden rush of adrenaline made my heart rate picked up. The sound of the rithmic beat of my blood being pumped was so loud that it covered the sound of my footsteps. I felt as if I was running from something or someone.

I came to abrupt halt not being able to run anymore. My knees shook and I gasped for my breath. When I looked to my right the same room that I woke up, not having changed one bit, looked back at me, taunting.

A step would be enough for the ice to give out. I didn't dare make a move.

A dark shadow fell over the pearly white ice. A shadow of a tall man. I felt as if I was in danger.

I took a small step and the ice cracked. The shadow started to get larger and larger indicating that the man was getting closer.

I broke out into a run leaving behind a trail of shattered ice. My earlier running had already tired me. I was running with my last bit of strength until I had to stop.

I fell into the icy cold water. I tried to get my head over the water but it seemed like the water was pulling me down. The last thing I saw was the shadow of the man blocking the light.

I kept sinking into the dark. My lungs started to feel heavy. I let go of my final breath and closed my eyes.

My eyes fluttered open. I was laying in a white bed in a white hospital gown with an I-V stuck to my arm. I could hear a sinister laugh mocking me. I screamed...
