*song begins*

"You can't win, dude! Just give up and accept your fate!"

Gumball yelled in pain as Zack gave him a few blows to his face, giving him a black eye. He then punched him hard in the stomach, making the blue cat fall to the floor. He moaned in pain, trying to get up. But he couldn't. His whole body ached with each attempt to move he made. He heard Zack chuckle evilly and slowly looked up with a look of pure rage plastered on his face. Gumball clenched his fists and growled deep in this throat.

"W-what do you want from me anyway?" Gumball stuttered fearfully as his egotistical twin circled him like prey

"W-what do you want from me anyway?" Gumball stuttered fearfully as his egotistical twin circled him like prey. "You thought changing your legal name to your nickname would get rid of me, huh? Well, guess what punk?!" Zack stepped on Gumball's blue tail and the feline let out a small squeak of pain. "You were dead wrong! I'm still here..." Zack crouched down towards Gumball and held his chin so his eyes met his gaze. "...and I always will be!" Gumball breathed heavily as Zack turned his back against him, arms crossed.

"I tried to make things better, Gumball. I really did." Zack continued in a sinister voice. " I gave you what you've always wanted: Popularity. Handsome looks. Talent. What more could you want?"

*song at 0:50*

Gumball swallowed hard. He remembered as if it happened yesterday.
It all started when his mother had told him his real name: Zack. To Gumball, the name stuck out like a sore thumb. He ended up boasting about his real name at school, acting as if that name made him the coolest kid in Elmore. People began to say it was making him a little too cool, as he began to boss others around and bully them as well, something that the real Gumball wouldn't even think of doing. He even began disowning his own family!
His sister, Anais, discovered that it was "Zack" taking over his mind, attempting to change his memories by turning his failures (which filled  most of Gumballs memories) into successes. Gumball was about to fade away forever when he remembered a time when his actually did succeed at something: getting a new high score on an arcade game. In that memory, he was struggling to figure out whether to type in G-U-M or B-A-L, as the game only required 3 letters for the user. Zack tried to stop him, saying that his name (spelled as Z-A-C) fit perfectly. Gumball ended up pushing him away and remembered his true name, typing G-U-M-B-A-L-L into the word box. This action destroyed Zack...or at least he thought he did when his family took him to court to change his legal name to Gumball.

Gumball sighed deeply. "True, that's what I wanted. But I'm pretty sure pushing others away and making yourself seem like a self-centered bully doesn't count as "making things better." He retorted. He tried again to get up, but his arms still hurt from the punches Zack gave him. Seriously, he thought. Had he been taking boxing lessons in the past?

"Still," Zack continued. "you know what it's like to be the one who's bullied. Pushed around. Rejected by others. There's no way to end it. This is who you are. You're Gumball." He turned towards the feline and held out his hands to his side.
