I got to the house and there were hugs and screams and we were just waiting for her mom to finish up whatever she was doing when there was a knock at the door. Her brother came down and when he opened it I knew who it was.
It was the same guy from the mall. And he confirmed it by saying, before he saw me to her brother.
"Dude, I saw this girl at the mall this morning, she was so hot, I gave her my number and she just texted me."
Her brother proceeded to say.
"Was she really that hot?"
"Yeah bro."
"Well text her."
"I just did, I asked her what she was up to tonight."
Now keep in mind that I and my friends heard all of this. They headed up the steps and my phone went off.
"Ohh who was that?"
Veronica (birthday girl) asked.
"No one." I said blushing.
I texted back."Come down."
And waited. Her mom came around the corner and the limo pulled in and I had just stepped out the door when he saw me. He smiled and Veronica's brother started to crack up.
The door to the limo shut and we wee on our way. Almost the entire ride there we were texting. And we finally figured out why we looked so familiar to each other.
I always hung out with Veronica and he had alway hung out with her brother, so we would see each other but never really said a word.
