1988) is an american writer and actress.
she is best known for her blackout poetry
series honey pulled from darkness, as
well as her role as violet baudelaire in
lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate
events (2004) and cassia in pompeii
(2014). vincent was born in rome, italy,
and raised in pittsburgh, pennsylvania.
upon finishing elementary school, the
family moved to houtzdale, pennsylvania,
and she attended moshannon valley
junior-senior high school. she is an
alumnus of westminster college, having
studied political science in the pre law
program and english with a minor in
writing. after two months at the university
of notre dame law school, vincent dropped
out, pursuing a career in writing. she is
