Mixed Lights & Darkness: Phan

Prologue

It was a usual morning as always, waking up, eating cereal for breakfast and watching anime with my best friend, Daniel Howell.

Well, I wouldn't say "best friend" in the inside because I feel like we have something more that our fans don't know of. I'm getting off topic here, moving on.

Anyways, Dan is the one who decides what anime we watch today. "We are not gonna watch Attack On Titan today." He said briefly.

"What? Why?"

"We keep rewatching the same episodes. I got something new that I thought you might like."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it might have gambling and that shit but, the plot is really cool. They have a 2nd season now so, we gotta catch up." I see the tiny puppy eye expression in him, I didn't want to upset Dan. I just said, "Go ahead."

He puts on Netflix this time which was pretty strange since we usually use Crunchyroll. Oh, that's where the anime is. The young man clicks a title called "Kakegurui". Every episode felt like a plot twist and we watched it for 2 straight hours until I fell asleep.

I woke up, noticing that Dan was cuddling on me and had a tiny blush, haha. Silly Phil. A few seconds later, there were noises coming from outside. I slowly tried to get out of Dan's warm and soft arms. Probably a storm or something, I looked at the nearest window.

But no, it wasn't just an ordinary storm.

The clouds had shades of purple.

The storm felt heavy that I could feel the lightings through my spine.

I felt like we are gonna die but at the same time, it felt like a stupid dream.

Why do I feel like I have seen that was really familiar to this? "Dan!!!" I shouting, seconds after I saw the furious storm. There was no answer. I walked back to the couch where I woke up in.

Dan is not there, maybe he went somewhere. With bravery, I went outside with my blue raincoat. Stepping outside to the place where we did the Pigeon Festival. Great memories.

I saw him, don't know how to describe it but, he was surrounded by purple shadows. "Hey, Phil. Why don't you join the darkness with me?" Dan said in a mischevious voice. "What the fuck?! What has gotten into you?!" I screamed in agony. He pulls out a giant key out of nowhere, "Only 1 way to find out." and I touched the other end of the key he holds. "Just tell me why are you doing this?!" I cried.

There was still no answer. I tried reaching my arm out for him but, the wind was too strong that Dan got dragged by it and vanishes as he reaches me. Wait, vanishes? That couldn't be right? This was definitely a dream.

I decided to hold the other side of the giant key that he left me and use it as a weapon. There were strange black creatures with yellow eyes that were catching me so, I did the one thing to do and that was to attack them with the key. I looked at the back of me and saw a mysterious figure wearing a black coat. "What a big guy." He said.

"What do you want from me?!" I was ready to kill the guy in a position.

"This world is connected with many others, tied to the darkness. Soon to be completely eclipsed again. You do not yet know what lies beyond this universe." Wait, the theory of there being other universes are true?

"W- WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

"Although an old man, you still don't know much about different worlds."

"Well, I WILL GET TO KNOW THEM!"

"It's really fascinating, that you were a chosen Keyblade Master." The ground began to crack, it felt like an earthquake.

"J- JUST, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

"Say goodbye to your home, for now."

I was speechless. What is this guy trying to say? Keyblade? What's that? Forces of the wind then dragged me and I fly to the sky confused.
