C H A P T E R II

"put me down!!"

"do you want to get killed or what!?"

He doesn't even get me the time to reply that puts me and his self in a little hallway near the hotel,, which i didn't even know existed.

"listen up,, you weren't supposed to follow me,, you were actually supposed to run away from me"

"yeah but,, I was just curious ok? You were nice to me this morning so why killing someone now?"

He looked at me for a while after dropping on the floor tired.
i sit down too catching my breath and clearing my throat after screaming at him.

"Why did you come back?"

"what do you mean come back??"

"your shift was over why didn't you just go?"

"i forgot my keys..."

he looks at me,, i can't really tell his emotions due to the mask he is wearing but something is telling me that he is kinda mad.

"what do you mean forgot your keys? how do you forget that?"

"Listen you can't judge me like that!"

we hear a creak of someone on top of the roof of the building we were against,, he takes out his weapon ready to load it and i just cling to his arm,, because i was kinda scared he would leave there

"who was that shadow guy?"

he ignores me and keeps looking up till we hear a strim of an instrument and turn to the right of the hallway to see a woman floating with a strange piano with her. Jhin immediately puts down his gun and sighs looking at the woman that was smiling sweetly at him

"sona you almost gave me a heart attack sweetheart!"

I just look at them for a solid minute and try to understand what was going on, jhin talked to her but she never replied,, he didn't seem that mad about that she just stripped her cords at him,, and he just laughed.
sona looked at me in the sweetest way a woman could and jhin turned to me too.

"well i guess she gotta stick with us to,, zed almost killed her,, he probably saw her face too. she wouldn't be safe here in ionia with him checking in the place."

i look at him in pure confusion and then another crick was heard. sona looked behind her,, we heard a laugh then a strange shadow appear and trow sharp object at has,, sona stripped her cords one more time to send protection bars at has while we started to run away,, since i was the last to be bubbled,, something hit me on my shoulder. I fell down to the ground holding my shoulder,, i see sona expression of terror then jhin getting on his knees while shooting at the shadow person then picking me up bridal style and running to sona,, she stripped a cord fast as we run,, some green essence escaped that sweet sound and got into me,, healing slowly my wound.
we reached a really long river that brought to the train binaries of ionia,, we definitely couldn't jump that,, at least I and jhin couldn't,, so his idea just threw me in the water and jump by himself after. sona followed by floating and trying to confuse zed if where we were going.
We started swimming towards the other side and ran to the binaries to enter the ongoing train that was slowly stopping.
I started looking at it while jhin looked at me in confusion.

"jump inside"

"what no are you crazy?"

he looks at me then sighed heavily while holding his face.

"either you jump,, or you get killed by that idiot back there"

i listened to him and jumped on it and so did he,, he saw sona weaving at us while disappearing in the night.
