WINTERFELL

Alianna watched along with everyone else as Bran released another arrow that misses the target completely again. He huffs in frustration as her other two brothers, Robb and Jon comes closer to him and Jon puts his arms around little Bran.

Alianna was a good enough archer, but she wasn't as good as her father's ward, Theon Greyjoy. She is a mix between doing needlepoint almost perfectly and a good enough fighter. Her father wanted her to defend herself from a very young age, while her mother opposed it. Clearly her mother lost the battle when her father agreed to teach her the ways to wield a sword properly at the age of 6. She is still every bit the lady though to her mother's relief. She knows her responsibilities and her duties and she does it well.

She manages to balance it well and that's why she's allowed to be helping to teach her younger brother archery. So far, it hasn't been going very well.

"Go on. Father's watching and your mother,"Jon said. Bran quickly turned his head to look up at his parents standing on the balcony above, giving him encouraging smiles. He turns to look towards his left to look at his older sister, who was watching him with a beautiful and encouraging smile, urging him on. So, he strung his arrow to his bow, pulled it and released it. They all watched as it flew over the target and fly over the fence into the Wolfswood. Jon, Robb, Rickon and I all laughed at our little brother as Bran sighed in frustration.

"And which one of you was a marksman at ten?" Ned Stark asked his older children and all of them stared up at him in silence. "Keep practising, Bran. Go on." With that, Bran looked down, pulled his bow string again, but his sister stopped him this time.

"Don't think too much", Jon whispered so that Bran could focus on his voice. Bran proceeds to aim his bow towards the target. "Relax your bow arm", she instructs Bran slowly as he focuses more on the target.

All the siblings that were present stepped back to give their younger brother more space. Bran was all prepared to release his arrow when another arrow strung past them and landed on the target perfectly. They all quickly looked behind sharply, trying to see who had made the shot.

They all saw Arya curtsying, mockingly whilst smirking at Bran. Bran throws his bow to the ground and chases after his sister while the rest of us laughed at the both of them.

She looks towards her youngest brother, Rickon and urges him on, "Come on now, little brother. Let's go help Jon and Robb to pick up the arrows from the ground," he immediately sets off to help, anything to impress his siblings. Alianna looks at her little brother with a smile on her face as he happily helps his older brothers, but with a care in his step as he remembers that the arrows are pointy and dangerous and handed them to a distracted Jon, who was looking upward. Alianna followed his line of sight and saw her mother looking at him hatefully. She puts her hand on his shoulder and squeezes it while giving her mother a look of disapproval.

"You'll always be family Jon," she whispers to him, smiling. He smiles at her gratefully and they both go back to collecting arrows. They continued working on collecting the arrows when Theon Greyjoy, Lord Stark's ward approached them and smirked as he always does.

"Go get ready. We're riding out. Your lord father is about to hand the King's justice to an oathbreaker. Bran's coming with," he said. Alianna sends a concerned look to Robb and Jon.

"Bran is still too young to see such things,"Alianna says and Theon gives her that annoying smirk. "Not according to your father." He walks away to the stable with your brothers while you turned towards your youngest brother Rickon and picked him up.

"You and I are going to walk around the keep in the meantime, spending time with each other," she said while kissing his cheeks. He giggled at her before putting his arms around her neck and resting his head on her shoulders.

KING'S LANDING

The queen leaned over a balcony overlooking the dead body of of Jon Arryn, the former hand of the king with worry. She heard footsteps coming towards her, knowing that it is her brother Jaime, she doesn't bother to turn to look until he reaches her.

"As your brother, I feel that it is my duty to warn you," he says, leaning by a pillar."You worry too much. It's starting to show."

"And you never worry about anything,"Cersei counters back to her brother."When we were seven, you jumped off the cliffs of Casterly Rock. A hundred foot drop into the water,"she said."You were never afraid,"she said, turning to look at him.

"There was nothing to be afraid of until you told father,"Jaime replied, waving his hand at her."Lannisters don't act like fools,"he continued in a bad impression of his father's voice.

"What if Jon Arryn told someone?"Cersei says, turning to look at the body of the former hand of the king."About what?"Jaime asks."The fact that we used to have sex with each other whilst foolishly believing that we were born to be together or the fact that you poisoned the Hand to keep your secret safe." He gave her a knowing look in the process while she sends him a glare so as to warn him from saying anymore."But who would he tell?"He asks her seriously this time.

"My husband,"Cersei whispered with urgency.

"If he told the king both of yours and your lover's head along with mine would be skewered in the city gates by now. Whatever Jon Arryn knew or didn't know died with him,"Jaime says."Robert will choose a new hand of the king. Someone to do his job while he continues fucking balls and hunting whores or is it the other way around?"Jaime asks mockingly with a confused expression on his face."And life will go on."

"You should be the hand of the king,"Cersei tells her brother.

"That's an honor I can do without. The days are too long and lives a too short. I'm already being wed to the beauty of the North as you know,"he said smirking at his sister.

"About time honestly,"Cersei replied, ending the conversation and looking on at Jon Arryn's body, thinking of what was to come.
