Split Three Different Ways

On a nice winter morning I'm outside practicing I wait for my team to get done talking with Ruby, I practice my whip skills by whipping some old bottles and beer cans, most likely left by Qrow... I also practice some punching and try to find some new combos I can use later on.

As i take a rest and whipe the sweat away, I sit down by tree stump and take a drink out of my canteen. I catch myself admiring the woods and sky, its hard to belive how peacefull Patch it. While I'm admiring the view i hear the cabin door sqeak open. I look over to see Ven and Noir both walk out. I slap my sweat rag on my shoulder and stand up. As they walk over I notice Ven is real jittery.

(Xander) "oh boy this should be good"

(Ven)"well I would say so"

Ven pulls out a small world map from his satchel and lays it on the tree stump I was just on.

(Noir) "well Ruby is dead set on taking team JNPR to Haven to see what they can do to help. No point in trying to stop her"

(Ven) "to follow his last orders I've came up with a plan, I will assist Ruby and JNPR in getting to Haven."

(Xander) Me and you both know she won't let you, she'll say she doesn't want anymore friends involved with her mission.

(Ven)" that's why I convinced Qrow to take me alone with him while he watch's over them from a distance."

(Xander)"smart boy, Now what about Weiss?"

(Noir)"Before we left Vale, I got into touch with Y:n's Aunt, some high security Atlas chick that can probably get me into the city if i ask her. Right now shes still in vale gathering her troops to head back to atlas, and with the borders closed its my only way in, other than breaking the law"

(Ven)"and you will go and find the missing cat"

(Xander) "Blake?"

(Ven)" Noooo....the other cat girl we know..."

(Xander) do we even know where she is?

(Ven) "well when I when back to vale last week a message poped up on my scroll, that monkey faunus kid sunn, sent me a messge a couple day prior. He said he followed her to a boat. He didn't say where she whent."

(Xander)"well in the dark, where does a scared cat go"

(Noir)"Home."

(Xander)"precisely, when i was in the White Fang i heard a couple of guys talking about the ex-High leader Ghira Belladonna, and how he lives in Menagerie."

I point on the map at the small land mass to the south east with a sliver of livable land and the other giant part just barren dessert.

(Noir)"think you can get there?"

(Xander)"yeah, might take awhile. ever since the borders got shut down the only way in is by boat, probably will have to travel back through vale"

(Ven) "I dont care if you have to swim just get it done"

(Noir) "what about her..."

I look up at noir who is turned around,looking at the top left bedroom, all of us knowing who that "she" is.

(Ven) "I dont think we'll have to worry about her, i doubt she's going anywhere anytime soon. As soon as we get to Mistral we'll have someone go and get her."

I hate the fact he's right, my last orders where to protect her and her team but i can't do all four, and I can tell everyone else is in more dire need.

(Xander)"so...this is it huh."

(Ven) "at least its a plan"

For a moment we all sit in quiet, just looking at nothing. It feels like we all lost the ability to talk or something.
