Gentle wind rippled the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean. Everything was black to the point where the line separating the sun from the sky was no longer visible. The weather was calm...calmer then it had been for days.
Treading through the oil like water, a single ship emerged from the darkness. Carrying music and laughter, a faint source of light battling the night to be seen.
Couples waltzed and twirled, but deep down into the lower depths of the ship a girl curled up against her mother. Looking at her with deep longing eyes.
She tried to ignore the threatening black water creeping up into their cabin...
