My name in Fayre. I'm from a planet named Arkann. It's pretty far from my new home, earth, but I'm getting used to everything. I had to evacuate from Arkann when a neighbor planet called Yedda started a war between us. My parents and a few other civilians managed to escape but not much is left from Akann. I still dreams of what my life would have been like if we didn't leave. How amazing everything would be. But it's all gone.
We all evacuated in a space ship pretty large and set a corse to earth. We landed in Luncindia City where I have been living for the past 3 years. The first few months here was hard for everyone from Arkann because we all have a bright purple skin and bright green hair. We basically stood out to everyone. But my parents met some people at work who are from a planet called Vaidehi who have made image inducers. They change your appearance. They had more made for everyone who survived Arkann so life would be a little bit easier.
A year after I started a thing called school. We go 5 times a week to learn about the history of earth and how to do 1 plus 1. It's very difficult but Arkannians have good memory so it's kind of pretty easy as well. I'm in 5th grade which makes it a lot more harder for me. On Arkann everyone loved everyone. Here on earth, people are mean. They are rude to each other and don't care for anyone but themselves. I've learned that. Along with the other Akannians.
I have one friend. Her names Dhara. But she's also from Arkann. We didn't really know each other on Arkann. But here on earth. We have never been closer. I don't think we can get closer. Everyday when I come home, my parents have me train. I train because I have powers. The atmosphere on Arkann was different than it is here which gives all of us powers. We can't do much. We could probably save a few peoples lives but that's it.
As you get older you learn more powers. When I arrived here I was 7 and all I could do was fly. Now I'm bullet proof. Which doesn't really help but if I were ever to be in trouble it might come in handy. All of us, we decided to stay hidden. Hidden from the world, from humans, people. And that has been difficult. We all have our daily lives and if anyone even sees us. We could all be dead. That's what happened to our friends from Vaidehi. The government found out about them and took them to do experiments. They never came back. It has been a few months since the government took them and they are very missed.
