Harry was shocked to see the properties and vaults he had access to, while Mia was not liking the illegal magical guardian.

"May we check for any spells and such?"

The goblin nodded and had Harry place 3 drops on a different parchment. Once the list appeared Mia was feeling an intense rage.

After reading the list of blocks, potions and spells put by the old man, Mia was absolutely seething, so much so her magic started to react. The room started to shake, and her eyes started turning red. The Goblin paled at the Cortez magic, while Harry quickly took her hand. The ring on his finger worked it's magic, sending calming waves to her preventing her from going after the old man herself and choking him with his beard. Taking a breath, she looked at Harry and glanced at his scar.

"That many blocks and potions would affect him excessively and the horcrux is likely helping more than it is hurting. I want him to go through a cleansing ritual to remove all spells and blocks."

Griphook glanced at the ring at Harry's finger. "Your family magic is one of, if not the strongest magic in the world, Lady Cortez."

Mia eyed him suspiciously, "I am aware of my family's magic. Begs the question, why is that being brought up?"

"The Potter is strong, and normally would be able to simply remove the blocks placed on a child. But this is not only directly on his core, add in the potions and spells trying to alter his mind and the way he thinks it would likely damage him."

"I am aware of the damage it could do to him. What I want to know is why my family's magic is being brought up."

"If both parties are willing, a blood adoption could be done."

Mia froze. Harry looked up from his chair at Mia confused. "What's a blood adoption?"

"Well, Harry it's where the person being adopted would become blood relatives with the family adopting them." Harry nodded understanding the explanation, but wondering why she seemed to tense at the thought of adopting him.

"Are you sure it can't be done with Potter magic?"

"I am afraid not. Not without severely damaging his magical core and his human body."

Mia nodded understanding. "Very well, we will return tomorrow."

Mia had sent Harry to his tent while she sat at the entrance to the circus on an empty milk cart. Her brothers stood behind her waiting for her to explain what happened.

"The old bastard blocked his magic, and put spells and potions to alter not only his personality but his way of thinking."

"Those kinds of spells are hard to get rid of, especially with his magic being blocked." Jack noted.

"What about the Potter family magic? They're a strong wizard family aren't they?" Peter asked.

"Well yes, but he's so young and the spells and potions have to be draining him as well."

Jason turned from his brothers, to his sister. "What do the goblins suggest?"

Mia sighed. "Griphook suggests blood adoption."

Jason nodded, "The Cortez Magic would rid any potions and blocks, especially if he's adopted with pure Cortez blood."

Mia gave him a look when he said but knew what he meant.

Jack started smiling and teasing Mia, "Aww my little sister's gonna be a mother!"

"Jack, don't start. A blood adoption is out of the question. Or rather me adopting him is out of the question."

"Oh come one Mia, Harry adores you. Your parents adopted us, so why can't you adopt him?"

"I mean this with complete offense, my mother wasn't as powerful as I am. Dad was pretty powerful but again not as strong as me." She sighed. "I have no idea what my magic will do to him."

The three brothers looked at each other before wrapping their arms around her.

"Mia the Cortez Magic may be dark and chaotic but it is ours. It's loyal and strong."

Mia nodded her head, "Yeah you're right. I'll ask Harry what he thinks. If he's willing then we'll do the adoption. If not then we'll find a way to rid the blocks another way."

They nodded watching her leave to Harry's tent. 

"You know out of all of us I knew she'd be the one to have kids."

Jason nodded at Peter. "Agreed, but I didn't think it would be because she kidnapped someone."

The brothers laughed going back to the kitchens to sneak dessert without the cook noticing.
