The End.
Those are the words she sees when she finishes reading.
Tick, tick, tick, the clock's ticking is the only sound that fills the room. The girl's left there, staring at the last words she just read.
'They lived happily ever after' she repeats the words in her head.
Happily ever after, her dream.
The dream that can never be accomplished.
The girl stays quiet, lost in her own thoughts. She can hear the clock’s ticking, but there's also a faint voice. The voice is barely audible, more like a whisper. The girl tries to focus so she can hear the voice clearer.
Her effort is working, after a while, the voice become clearer. Now she notices, it's not just one voice, there's several of them.  All of them has a somewhat similar tender tone to it. It's all a male’s voice, deep and gentle.
The girl can't seem to figure out what they're saying.
She tries to focus harder now, eager to listen more.
After a while, she finally figures out, the voice is calling the girl's name. People’d afraid by now, she's not though.
Instead of being afraid, the girl answers their call, asking them what could they possibly want from her.
The girl gets an answer immediately from the now much more clear voice,
“We’re here for you”, answer one of the voice
“I heard you” another voice speaks out.
“WE heard you” another voice rings out, as if correcting the other.

The girl's now confused, she hasn't said anything, perhaps they misheard.
“You believe in us, don't you ?”
The girl becomes more confused.
‘Believe in who, or what ?’ the girl thought.

“Do you want us ?”
She finds herself nods to the question.
Now, the voice takes form, three forms, the forms of three males that she adores.
She's speechless at their sights. Is she dreaming ? If this is a dream, it's a dream she doesn't want to wake up from.
‘No! No! No! This can't be real !’ she thought, as badly as the girl wants them to be real, they're not. “You're all is just in my head” she says.

“Then why did you crave us badly ?” says one of them.
“Accept us” orders one of them in a more commanding tone.
“Trust us, and you'll be happy” assures another voice.

She does accept them, she does believe them, she does NEED them.
As she thinks these thought, she remembers the most important thing
‘This is not the reality, this is just an illusion'

“Reality is what you choose to be real” the voice says, as if reading her mind.

They step closer to her, now embracing her. She accepts their gentle embraces, there's a weird feeling that starts to grow from within her.
Is this what happiness feels like ?
Is this the happiness that the girl's been chasing all this time ?
It feels wonderful.

“We understand exactly how you feel”
“You’re not the one who's wrong”
“You’re different, special, unlike them who can only judge”

They're saying the words that she desires, that she NEEDS to hear. They make her feel like she's special, even though she's not.
Her eyes are watery, tears start to roll down her cheeks.
One of them reach out a hand to wipe it, while the other strokes her hair. The gesture calms her, soothes her.
Deep in her mind, she knows that this is bad for her.
But how can something so bad can put her mind to ease ?
If this is wrong, she doesn't want to be right.
“You know I – no, we love you” the voice says
Three words that she craves badly.
She craves love, to feel love, to be loved by someone so dearly, now there's three of them.
“We won't leave you, our princess”
Her reasons start to crumble.
The reasoning in her is fading away, becoming a blur.
“I love you” the three voices say the words again
The happiness she feels is enough to drive her mad.
“You'll stay with us, won’t you ?” It's not a question , more like a statement
“Which ‘reality’ you'll choose, love ?” obvious question
“Come with us, princess” a tempting offer
They hold out their hands to her

She knows what she needs to choose, she always knows
She takes their hand, falling into their embrace, the safest place for her
“That’s our good girl”
“Now, you know what you have to do, right, love ?”
“Don’t worry, we'll be with you every step of the way, princess”
She takes out a scissor that she hides beneath her pillow.
She put them there to get rid of the nightmares
Now, she won’t need it there anymore, the nightmares will be gone soon enough
She hold the scissor, pointing the sharp end to her heart.
Their hands now are on top of hers, giving her the push she needs.
She thrusts the scissor, she can feels the pain that races throughout her body
The blade pierces through her heart, blood starts to gush out
But she feels unbelievably happy
She's not scared, she knows that they'll be waiting for her
She'll leave this nightmare of a world where she can't achieve her dream and go to a better one
This is it, she thinks as she feels her consciousness slips away
Her happily ever after.

The end.
