Nyaisha
The minute those words left melly's mouth I went silent "baby" he said softly i looked at him tears pooling in our eyes he looked more broken then I did
"I would give my life for you Nyaisha I don't wanna lose you I want to marry you and have children with you live my life with you!" He said as tears fell down his face
I wiped them away " I'm going to get out of this baby I promise " I said kissing him he held me tight
"They will not take you from me baby I promise" he said and kissed my forehead
The officer walked in and escorted melly to the exit and I was put in a cell
God how am I gonna get out of this I thought to myself
Melly
I left the jail and drove to my mom's house I knocked on the door and she answered "melly what are you doing here? And where's Nyaisha" and right there I broke down
" M-melly" she said then pulled me inside "what's going on are you ok? What happened?" She said
" ma I messed up ok Nyaisha is in jail and they tryna give her the death penalty they don't wanna here her explanation" I said
"Why are they giving her the death penalty what did she do" ma said
" She killed j green because he kidnapped her and he wouldn't stop harassing her I was gonna do it on my own but he shot me so she killed him" I told her as tears streamed down my face
I ain't never cry for no female but she different
"Ma I wanna marry her I wanna be with her I can't lose her and I don't know what to do" I said ma held me in her arms
" it's gone be ok God is with her it's going to be alright" she said as she soothes me
"You need some sleep how bout you stay here ok" she said I nodded and stood up we walked to my old room and I layed on the bed and slept
Nyaisha
I was sitting in the jail cell trying to sleep on the cold metal it hurt me that I was here for defending myself but I wouldn't let it break me I finally got some sleep
Dream
"You thought you got away from me hmm no I am with you forever you took my life that is eating you up inside slowly you will break in time" a voice said a voice I never thought I'd hear again j green
"You are dead you shouldn't be here in my head you should not be bothering me you can't have melly you are dead" I said not even looking at him
"Maybe your right Nyaisha maybe I can't have melly but I can get back at you" he said as he got closer
"You aren't going to break me I'm not scared of you!" I said back
"And you aren't even real" I scoffed and he was gone
Melly (two weeks later)
I haven't eaten I barely slept since that night I've been at my mom's house but today was visiting day so I took a shower and got ready I rubbed my hands down my face as my mom drove me to her facility I looked out the window the whole drive
When we finally got there I entered signed in and waited to see her she came out in a black and white stripes jumped suit she sat in front of me she looked like herself but not happy
"Melly I'm not going to come home next week is my trial and I'm pleading guilty and I don't want you to blame yourself for the decision that I made I want you to be happy and sadly that can't be with me" she said
" Baby no please don't say that don't give up on us please Nyaisha I-i haven't been the same without you I don't wanna be without you please" I said as I broke down in front of her
She caressed my face " I love you but I have accepted this" she said and left I sat there with my head in my hands
