Chapter 1 - The First Day Of Summer

A/N
This is the first chapter as you can see of my new book. It's also as you can see is an Omelia story. And again they are still teenagers. Though with this one I'm hoping to write all the way up to when they start working at Grey Sloan memorial hospital (or GSMH for short). I hope you enjoy this story and yes I'll be writing this one and my other story at the same time. That and I'm starting a new book that isn't greys related, it's Marvel related so if you're interested in that it's coming soon. Hope you enjoy this book as much as my other omelia one (which I'm still going to be writing as it's far from over).

It was the first day of summer, which meant no school. Not that I didn't like school, I loved school but it was nice to have a break. Besides I don't have any friends anyways other than DanieI. I'm just one huge disappointment.

My brothers friends were supposed to come over today, since we've got a pool in our backyard. Derek, that's my brothers name, he's 21 but he still lives here during the summer. He's in college, wants to be a neurosurgeon. As do I. I've got three sisters as well. Nancy whose 20, Kathleen who's 19 and Lizzie who's 18. Then there's me I'm 15, so the baby of the family really. Lucky me.

"Amelia how many times do I have to tell you go upstairs when your brothers friends are here" my mom said.
"Yeah yeah whatever" I replied. She didn't like my brothers friends, some of them Atleast. Thought they were a bad influence on me. Especially since no one thinks I can do anything for myself. Even though I'm taking junior classes as a freshman in highschool. Well next year I'll be a sophomore but still.

"Sorry. You're going to work right" I asked. My mom was a nurse or something at a hostpial I don't really know or care.
"Yeah. So I'll see you tonight okay. Love you. and you know I only tell you not to be downstairs when their here because I care about you. You're my favorite child" my mom said kissing my head before leaving. As if.

I went upstairs as my mom told me to do. I didn't really have anything to do so I just decided I was going to watch what was happening outside. My room had a good view of our backyard. I looked outside and saw some of my brothers friends were here already. Mark, Teddy, and Meredith we're here so far but I presumed we were still waiting for Jackson and April.

"Amelia. Did mom leave" Lizzie asked me and I just nodded. I didn't really have good relationships with my sisters. It was good that Nancy was never home she actually stayed at her college the whole time. Kathleen is always with her boyfriend and Lizzie doesn't really care about me.
"And she told you you couldn't be downstairs" Lizzie asked and once again I nodded.
"Okay" she said and left. I looked back outside and Jackson and April were there now. They were a couple and a pretty dang cute one too. I looked around and my eyes caught this house. It was a nice light blue shade one you wish your eyes could be. As I studied the house my eyes landed on an open window. There was this really hot boy. I think he was around my age maybe older but boy is he hot. His eyes caught mine I presume because he gasped and shut his curtains. Not like I saw too much anyways he was only shirtless. I got bored of watching my brother and his friends and decided I was gonna do some drawing.

Pov Owen
It was the first day of summer and the first day in my new house. Well technically it's my moms house but same difference. We moved to Seattle from California. Mostly because of my moms job. She's an accountant or something. I have one sister, Megan, she's 13.
"Owen are you coming down before I leave" my mom called from downstairs. I didn't respond just went downstairs.

My sister was already eating breakfast and my mom was standing by the front door.
"Yeah bye mom" I said and hugged her.
"You two be good alright" my mom said and left.
"I'm upstairs" I told my sister and went back to my room. I didn't know what to do. It was the first day of summer and I didn't have any school work cause I hadn't started school in Seattle yet. Plus I don't have friends here so that blows. I was walking around my room when I walked by my window.
"Dang my curtains are open. How long have they been..." I stop talking to myself when I realize there's a girl in the house directly across from mine whose staring at me. I gasp and shut my Curtains quickly. A few minutes later I open them again and she's gone. I looked into her backyard and there were some people hanging in her pool. My yard had a small pool and a basketball hoop. Not as great as that girls backyard. She was pretty though.
