"So, we've got an hour till dinner. What are we gonna do?" Jason asks eagerly.

"I'm gonna go and drawn the field" I say shrugging and grabbing my sketch book, smokes and a lighter.

"It'll be dark out" me Johnston states worriedly.

"I'll be okay" I say shrugging and walking out of the cabin.

The rocks under my feet crunching as I walk closer to the field, I let the darkness consume me. Once I've found my spot I sit down on the grass. Taking out a smoke and lighting it. Taking a puff before starting to draw. It's not too dark that you can't see anything but the sun has set and the cool frosty air is out to play. A few minutes go by and I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look to see me Johnston sitting down next to me. He looks me over and gives me his jumper.

"Thanks." He smiles and looks over at the drawing.

"You're a great artist. Though I don't like your smoking habit." I blush as he takes hold of my wrist, moving my hand with the smoke up to his lips, taking a puff of it.

"Hypocrite" I mumble with a soft laugh.

"I guess so, I don't care really about smoking, But I care when it comes to you" I blush and look down at my sketch book.

"Why do you care?" I ask softly.

"Hm?" I obviously said it to soft for him to hear.

"Nothing." I say looking in his eyes.

"Do you want to talk about your cuts?" He asks as he looks ahead of us.

"I asked if we could do this next week" I say softly.

"I know, but I want to know why? I won't tell but I want to know why" He says softly.

"Everyone has a story to tell, and scars left behind. Whether emotionally, mentally or physically. Some of us are lucky to get all three like I was." I say briefly.

"I know you don't want to talk about it but I'm here for you if you change your mind. I won't tell anyone about your self harming if you promise to tell me when it happens. I don't want you taking it that step further." His beautiful eyes begging mine as he keeps eye contact.

"Okay." I say softly, looking away from his piercing gaze.

He takes hold of my wrist and takes another drag, his lips pressing against my fingers slightly. He pulls back and let's the smoke rise into the air.

"Come on, dinner is ready." He stands up and offers me his hand. I take it and blush as my chest collides with his.

"Sorry." I say softly. He chuckles and walks beside me, back up the the dining hall.

I watch as he sits with the teachers. A female teacher either side of him. His beautiful laugh filling my ears every now and again as he jokes with Mr Harrison in front of him. Ms Pace and Ms Fold melting either side of him. He looks up, his eyes darting straight to me. He smiles softly at me, his eyes focused on me alone I smile and blush.

"Are you even listening?" I break eye contact and turn to Paige.

"Ha? No I wasn't I'm sorry." She sighs and rolls her eyes.

"I was saying, how am I meant to be with Josh if we have a teacher in the room" I laugh softly.

"You could always ask him to go for a walk with you. I doubt he'll say no." She says grinning. I roll my eyes.

"And where is Jason, France and Max going to go while you guys fuck?" I ask laughing.

"They agreed to go and play games in the hall for a couple hours. It's just Mr Johnston. I know he wouldn't leave us alone if he knew we were together alone" I roll my eyes.
