"I can't believe you are actually going through with this." Says my father
"Well you never see me so why should you care." I remark flatly. My father left my mother two months ago for some hooker he met in Vegas.
"I can't believe your mother is letting you dress like that." He points at my clothes. I don't see anything wrong with them. I have on tight black jeans with leather boots and a leather jacket. I find them very comfortable. "Well have you seen the way your wife dresses?" I answer in the most curt way I can.
He looks at me like I have just slapped him. "Anyway I didn't come here for you to criticize my outfit I came here to give you this." I hand him a flyer that has my band name on it. Since I'm the only girl in the band I got caught making all the flyers and booking all the gigs.
"It's my first gig and I want you to be there." I say with very little emotion.
"I'll try, but remember Alene, I'm on a busy schedule."
"Oh, really does that schedule involve banging your wife seven days a week." I say flatly.
"You will never talk to me that way again young lady do you understand? Your grounded. " I actually force a laugh. My father actually thinks that he has authority over me. "Ya whatever. I don't live with you so I don't have to listen to you." I turn around and walked out of his office
