Water. Tears ripples down her cheeks as I started intensely into her eyes. I had never seen her cry before, it was beautiful, mystifying, but it hurt me. I was frozen in time, I could do nothing, I watched in agony, why couldn't I help her? I screamed out for her, but nothing escaped my lungs, she looked at me with this pitiful expression, arms outstretched. She was stunning, silver hair blowing in the wind, her eyes rivalling the stars themselves with there brightness and beauty. I wanted to go to her, embrace her, kiss her, do something.. I needed to do something. I wanted to make her feel like she didn't need to be scared anymore, but I was powerless. She spoke, in this quiet, alluring voice. "Promise. Promise me you will never leave me, %*~^|=." WhAt did she say? I couldn't make out the last word, it was like it was erased. Snapping me back to the reality of the situation, she stared at me, her delicate doe like eyes pleading for me. I screamed to the top of my lungs, and to my surprise it was audible. She could hear me. "I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET YOU. I PROMISE BECAUSE I LOVE U H-."
My eyes opened, staring up at the glass above me. She was gone.

Chapter 1
My pillow was soaked to the bone. Had I been crying? I remembered nothing from my dream but yet, something was telling me it was important, like this ripping feeling inside, begging me not to forget. My eyes squinted in concentration as I racked every corner of my brain, begging for any clues. "I won't ever... forget... you" those words slipped from my lips as if I had said them before, many times. The silver switch flickered ever so lightly. What did those words mean? Why were they. Familiar?

I slowly stepped onto the cold hard floor, gazing out of the huge glass window in front of me. I hated mornings. They lulled you into this fake belief that everything was going to be okay, the golden ray of light beckoning you outside. Of course it was okay. It was the same, always the same. The world never changed.

The future. Something idolised by humanity yes? Since year dot we have wondered, pondered and excitedly guessed about the future. But all we did year by year was find ways to "improve" ourselves, slowly losing all that makes us humane. It started with a cure to cancer, something so joyous had doomed us all, we began a downward spiral of trying to challenge god, immortality, wings, a portal between heaven and hell. Now we were permanently trapped in hell. Well.... not exactly.

I had always been different from my peers, I saw them as fools, falling for the sirens song of this fake synthetic world. Everything we thought, did, said, was programmed. The world around us was simply a illusion, so that we could keep on living our "perfect" life. But I was different. I had complete control over what I did, but of course if I was discovered, I would probably be tested upon, and forced to become one of them. I would never let that happen. Our whole life was written down for us, letters of coding would decide our fate. But I was adamant I would not let that happen. I hoped, prayed there were people similar to me, but slowly, I lost hope. But I did not lose the will to complete my goal. I would rebel. I would bring a revolution, even if single handedly. Its a delusional mans fantasy I can tell your thinking, but what choice did I have? I had to fill my head with the thought of escaping this de ja vu, or I would spiral slowly into insanity.

I would not live the life programmed for me.

I will not live the life programmed for me

I will not let them win

I will bring
A
Revolution
