MAX: Who the fuck said you could speak?!
FRITZ: Leave the boy alone!
MAX: Whose side are you on?!
FRITZ: Whichever side keeps us alive, which currently, is not fucking yours! Now lower your weapon, that's an order!
Reluctantly, Max does so.
MARCEL: You drive trains?
MAX: Drove.
MARCEL: What was in these trains, people?
MAX: Jews.
FRITZ: (Whispering) Max, keep your voice down...
MARCEL: Well then I suggest you run, best you can.
MAX: We'd rather die.
MARCEL: Well then by all means be my guest, Berlin is-
FRITZ: (Desperately interrupting) A long way away!
MARCEL: What? It's-
FRITZ: Where we're headed, isn't it?
MAX: We are SS, we fight.
MARCEL: What the hell is going-?
FRITZ: Marcel may I have a word? Perhaps convince you to change your mind?
Fritz pulls Marcel aside, leaving the other two to awkwardly stand around.
MARCEL: Since when were train drivers in the SS?
FRITZ: They're not.
MARCEL: What on earth is going on Fritz?
FRITZ: You see that big fella?
MARCEL: The man who's pointed a gun at me two times in the same number of minutes? Yes, I seem him.
FRITZ: Well that man is gonna be the only reason we don't end up the wrong side of a firing squad. Have you ever been in a firing squad? You don't survive, ever.
MARCEL: (Losing patience) Tell me what is going on before I leave.
FRITZ: Okay, okay, I'm assuming you know what happened to (whispering) the Jews?
MARCEL: Of course I know.
FRITZ: Well that man spent the last 4 years delivering them all over Europe, which means he saw every face, of every Nazi, that can be found in the Big Book of Nazis That They're Definitely Gonna Wanna Hang, understand?
MARCEL: I'm not quite sure...
FRITZ: He's a walking Judas! Gold-dust personified! Its freedom guaranteed, at worst a slap on the wrist, and I'm willing to cut you in, if you lead us out of here.
MARCEL: So this thing about carrying on the fight in Berlin...
FRITZ: A slight white lie to get him movin'.
MARCEL: White lie?
FRITZ: Okay fine it's just a lie.
Max begins scavenging Dietrich's body.
MARCEL: And what about the boy?
FRITZ: What about him?
MARCEL: Does he know about your deal?
