Fall In Love

To win her heart

Jughead's POV:
I was driving around the small town called Riverdale. A town filled with darkness and a bit of happiness here and there.

I was riding my car when a certain girl with blonde hair catches my eye. She was laying down on a bench sleeping. Her face was pale as a vampire.

I parked my car in the corner. I got off and walked slowly up to the girl. When I got closer I saw she was shivering. Thank good he rain stopped an hour ago or so. I wonder how long she's been here?

I look around and see no one around. I gently take her book bag and hung it over my shoulder and carried the girl in my arms. She relaxed in my arms and I start to walk to the car.

I opened the door of the back passenger seat and gently lay her down. I put her bag on the floor and take off my jacket. I gently put it over her small body. It wasn't much but it was the least I could do to make her feel a bit warmer.

I close the door and go to the drivers seat. I start to drive and head to my secret house that I have hidden in Riverdale on the Southside part of town.

After arriving I parked my car in the garage and quickly got out and opened the back passenger door. I saw the blonde girl laying on the seats sleeping cuddling with my jacket. I quickly get her bag and carry her with my jacket over her body still. I kick the door shut with my foot and head inside.

I open the door to my house and go upstairs to lay her down on the extra bedroom I have. I tuck her under the covers and check the time. It's only 8PM.

I put her bag in the chair and start to head tot he door. I turn around and look at her again. She's beautiful, I think. I look at her for a few more minutes and head out the bedroom.

I got to my bedroom and lay down.

*3 hours later*

I hear the sound of someone screaming. I immediately get up and open my bedroom door slowly. I hear the screaming from the extra bedroom. "She must've woken up" I think. I open the door quietly and see her with a terrified look on her face.

Betty: "Who are you?" She asks afraid but not wanting to show her emotions.
Jughead: "Calm down...I say you on the bench laying down and thought I could help you" I say. She looks around and her eyes land on my jacket. Her eyes widen. She looks at the jacket and at me and back at the jacket.

Betty: "Y-Your a s-serpent?" She Asks. I nod my head yes.
Betty: "I have to go" She says getting out of the covers.
Jughead: "And to where exactly?" I say crossing my arms over my chest.
Betty: "None of your business" she snapped back.
I chuckle.
Jughead: "Kind of is since your in my house and by the looks of it you have no other place to go. So you either choose to stay here or go outside in the freezing cold and pray for the best" I say calmly.

She sighs and sits back down on the bed looking down.

"She really is something" I think to myself. She fiddles with her thumbs nervously.
Jughead: "Hey don't be nervous, I won't harm you" I say slowly sitting next to her on the bed.
Betty: "Promise?" She says softly with her angelic voice.
Jughead: "Promise" I say holding out my pinky. She looks at me with her Green eyes and smiles. She puts out her pinky and we cross them together. We both pull away.

Jughead: "So how exactly did you end up on the streets of Riverdale all alone?" I ask.
Betty: "Ugh...long story short my mom and I got into an argument and she kicked me out" she says sadly.
I put my hand on her shoulder and rub it softly making her relax in my touch.

I have something on her...and for the little time we've known each other.

She has to be mine...mine and mine only. This will be like a mission. To win her heart.
