The Lion, The Wolf, and The Child

Chapter One

"Hello princess Evelyn, how was my little girl's nap." A man said it was blurry, I feel like I know him. Then he came into view, he was white with a scar running down his cheek from a fight. He had brown eyes and had brown hair. He was wearing a crown that had dark blue gems. He had a cloak that was also dark blue. He was wearing a black shirt with a few fancy buttons and white puffy sleeves at the end. He also wore black pants and black boots. He had a beard that was the same as his hair. I reached for his beard to tug at it. Instead, his finger touched my hand, my instinct was to squeeze his hand in which I did. "Aidan, I told you not to wake up Evelyn again." A woman said, her voice was smooth and nice.
"Ah Sheba, I didn't know you were following me," The King said, looking at the wolf. The wolf was black with wings, blue eyes and one or two claw scars on his back. His tale going between his legs, bowing his head. "Sorry my king, your wife's warrior is very intimidating," The wolf said.
"Well of course she is, she's a lion." The king pointed to the lioness who was standing next to the Queen. The Lion was tan with yellow cat-like eyes. Her black claws sticking out a little bit, she was standing firm and tall on all fours. She did look intimidating. "Well at least I'm a proper warrior," she said with a little bit a sarcasm and sass.
"Like I'm not a good warrior, I got two scars from a tiger one time during a war, right on me back" The wolf growled.
"Ok let's not start a fight, now Aidan, Zeus, can you please leave so I can put my daughter to sleep again," Sheba said, intertwining her fingers together. They left only leaving Athena and Sheba left. "Hey, little one," she said. The Queen was black with curly hair that went down to her waist. She had green eyes with freckles, she was wearing a teal dress that had floppy sleeves. She had a crown on her forehead that was holding a big light blue diamond.

Evelyn woke up in a cold sweat, looking around the cave that they lived in. She sat up, leaving the cave. The moon was full, making it a little easy to see. It was even easier since it was winter and there was snow on the ground. They were in the middle of the woods, where Athena and Zeus knew Evelyn would be safe. Evelyn is not allowed to go back to the castle because Hade's warrior will be waiting to kill her. "Evelyn, what are you doing. Do you know what time it is?" Athena said, in a mad voice. She was standing at the opening of the cave. Even though she looked mad, she also looked worried. "You could've been seen or killed" she added.
"Sorry Athena, I had to get fresh air," Evelyn said, running towards the cave.
"We live in a cave, Evelyn," Athena said, adding a little bit of sass.
"And Zeus keeps farting all the time," Evelyn said, putting her hands on her hips, pouting her lips, closing her eyes and tilting her head up.
"Just get inside," Athena said, making sure Evelyn was in front of her.
"Athena, I have a question," Evelyn said, sitting down next to Zeus who was sleeping.
"Only two," Athena said, laying down.
"Why is Hades' warrior still alive, I mean once you die isn't your warrior suppose to die with you," Evelyn said, scooting over to Athena.
"Hades is a very powerful person, he was so powerful that his warrior would live even though he died," Athena said.
"Then how are you guys here? How did my parents die? Where are the dragons? Why don't I have a warrior yet, you're supposed to get a warrior around six or seven years old, I'm thirteen? What happened to-"
"Woah, I said two, not thirteen thousand. Now, the only way Zeus and I are alive is because your parents gave us to you" Athena said.
"What do you mean," Evelyn said, she was becoming tired but curiosity keeping her awake.
"Well, when someone else needs a warrior and you have one. You put your hand on your warrior's forehead and tell them that they are that person's warrior now, even if they like it or not. Now get some sleep, we're leaving tomorrow. Do you have your coat?" Athena said, lowering her head on her paws. Evelyn nodded, she soon fell asleep next to Zeus. Evelyn was brown with freckles and brown curly hair with hazel eyes, she was slender and tall.

"Evelyn, get up." A voice said Evelyn opened her eyes, seeing Zeus' blue eyes and his black fur. Evelyn got up, rubbing her eyes and putting on her coat. They haven't gone shopping in a week. It's more like Zeus stealing clothes from stores since they go to many different city's and villages.
"Now what are the rules," Athena said, turning around and looking at Evelyn seriously.
"If someone is following you tell you or Zeus immediately, and stay close no matter what," Evelyn said, repeating the word Athena teaches her a while back.
"Good, let's go," Athena said, turning around and walking out of the cave. After a few minutes of walking, Evelyn and Zeus were walking side by side while Athena was walking in front of them. "So why do I have to stay by you guys?" Evelyn whispered to Zeus.
"Well, Hade's followers are still out there" Zeus whispered back.
"Hades had followers," Evelyn said, a little loudly.
"Shh, keep your voice down," Zeus said. Athena stopped, making Zeus and Evelyn nervous. Evelyn looked where Athena was looking. "Zeus, do your thing," Athena said, tilting her head towards Zeus. With a flap of his wings, Zeus flies towards the village. Turning into a black spec with two flapping wings heading towards the village. "What are the rules, Evelyn" Athen said, walking towards the city and Evelyn following right behind her.
"Stay close, and if someone asks you weird question or starts following us I should tell you straight away," Evelyn said.
"Good," Athena said.

"YOU STUPID WOLF," The man said, with a broom in his hand. He owned a store named 'Girls N' Skirts'. He turned his head, he was wearing a run-down green shirt and brown pants. Evelyn looked towards the wolf, Zeus running away with a coat, spring outfit, bag, and something small the Evelyn could not figure out. "James, get the wolf," the man said. There was a loud roar, a velociraptor came out of the store. The velociraptor was gray with a little bit of green. It had sharp teeth, the let out another roar before running off to chase after Zeus. "Evelyn, let's get going, if we don't save Zeus he won't have a chance a surviving" Athena whispered in Evelyn's ear. Evelyn nodded, climbing onto Athena and sitting on her back. Athena ran out of the village, and into the forest. "Do you know where Zeus is" Evelyn half yelled.
"Yeah, I have his scent. Hold on" Athena said. Evelyn gripped Athena's fur tighter, Athena activating her super speed. Everything was a blur, passing through the trees, only seeing brown thin sticks with green dots. Jumping over a log in a matter of zero point one second. As Athena was running through the forest, jumping over logs, turning and twisting through the forest. There he was the velociraptor, everything was in slow motion. We locked eyes for a splint sec before he went out of focus. Athena ran until she stopped, running next to Zeus. "WHY AREN'T YOU FLYING" Athena yelled.
"I hurt my wing while running" Zeus said, sounding breathless. Athena stopped Evelyn, getting off her back. Athena stood her ground, the velociraptor caught up. He stood there tilting his head before giving a little smirk but it was nearly not as noticeable. "You're pretty fast for a lion huh." The velociraptor said, his voice was deep. "I'm going to take you down" he added.
"Bring it," Athena said, getting ready to attack. The velociraptor snickered, running towards us. Athena growled, a tiny purple spark forming around her tail and trailing up her body. Evelyn covered her ears knowing what was about to come. The velociraptor coming closer. A loud roar coming from Athena, sending the velociraptor flying. The velociraptor hitting a free and falling to the ground, but he wasn't that high. The velociraptor got up, looking at Athena with an unreadable expression. He ran away with a limp, through the forest until he ran behind a tree, not being able to see him anymore. " Let's go," Athena said, walking between Zeus and Evelyn, who were standing behind Athena as she roaded. "Sometimes, she scares me," Zeus said. Evelyn and Zeus soon followed Athena into the forest, finding a came to sleep in for the night.

Hi, it's Rose, forgot to add that Evelyn, the character, gets the bag from Zeus, the wolf, and was wearing it the whole time after Athena caught up to him. I'm just too lazy to add it, but just this chapter alone took me months to make. This may be a little like Harry Potter but that's ok. Love you guys❤️💕❤️😘.
