I heard the tapping of her heels along the corridor floor slowly fade away. It was just as they finally stopped that my phone buzzed twice.

KAYLEE: Hey, are you OK? Heard the shouting :/

I quickly replied to say I was fine and that I would see her when I was packed, which she seemed satisfied by. Then I looked back to my phone and checked the other message.

QUINN WILLIAMS: A daughter who speaks to me disrespectfully is no daughter of mine.

TORI WILLIAMS: A mother who speaks to me disrespectfully is no mother of mine. Fuck off to hell where you belong, bitch.

I was smiling at my reply, satisfied as I lay it down and finished up my packing. I finished soon after so I went to see Kaylee like I promised and told her about what my so-called mother had said.

"Skank" Kaylee muttered. She probably didn't want me to hear as her words came out quite harshly since I had previously warned her about her anger issues.

"My thoughts exactly" I said "Victoria, fetch me tea and crumpets!" I mimicked which made us both laugh as there was a knock on Kaylee's door. Kaylee got up and answered it as Hannah and Aimee ran in. We hugged and then sat down as they told me about their plans to stay at each others' houses and how they would miss us.

It was in between a conversation that there was a louder knock on the door.

"Why not throw a party?" Kaylee said under her breath, sighing and standing to open the door. "It's prince charming!" she said with a fake-giggle, making us all laugh as Eddie and Zayn entered, both leaning against the wall.

"Well hello there" Hannah giggled towards Zayn before jumping up and walking over.

"Zayn" he stuck out his hand and she shook it lightly.

"Hannah" we let them go off on their own conversation before Eddie informed me that it was time to leave.

"I'm going to miss you so much" I whispered in Kaylee's ear as she hugged me tightly and told me the same. We had already said our goodbyes to Zayn, Hannah, and Aimee before they had left.

"Text me everyday" Kaylee said and I just nodded, taking Eddies hand as he led me outside and to a taxi.

"Bye" I whispered as I sat in the back with Eddie on my left, waving to Kaylee who probably couldn't hear me but waved back.

-------

"Tori" someone cooed in my ear "Tori" I stirred but finally came to life.

"Huh?" Eddie chuckled at my side

"We're here" he smiled as he got out of his side and me out of mine. I walked around to the boot but before I could open it, he told me someone would fetch our bags so we started towards the house. I must say I was expecting a giant mansion but what I saw outside was nothing like my expectations.

Instead of a mansion, before me stood a large bungalow and I mean large as in 3 bungalows put together. It seemed to be quite a remote area with only a few fields on either side. The house itself was made of old looking brick but it made it have the antique feeling. A few rose bushes and vines crept up the sides of the bungalow, covering most of the bottom and middle parts of the bricks in green and red.

"Wow" I breathed. My old home was a mansion, I distinctly remember the size of it but it didn't come close to this. My old house was more like a show-home, this was a real home.

"Remember what I said?" came a woman's voice as we rounded the corner to be greeted by a line of people which were obviously his family. I stood at Eddie's side, looking at the unfamiliar faces.

"Tori, these are the lunatics. Lunatics, this is Tori"

"Edward!" obviously his mother, scolded with a glare before turning to me and walked towards me.

"Hello sweetheart. I'm Grace, Edward's mother" I'm sure she muttered an 'unfortunately' but she looked over at Eddie and smiled the sort of loving smile that mothers should give their children. Grace was pretty, considering being 39 and having 4 children. Her hair was a soft blond that flowed in waves down to her lower back. She stood aside and motioned to a man.

"This is my husband, Xavier and these are my children" she gave them a slight nod before the smallest stepped forward.

"I'm AJ" she smiled a toothy-grin as most of her baby teeth had fallen out. I bend down at her feet and shook her tiny hand which made her smile even more.

"Hi!" another girl stepped forward. She was around my height but maybe a year younger. Her hand lifted from her side and she gave me a quick wave as she jumped a little giddily. 'I'm Vera!" I waved to her and then stood in front of what must be Eddie's brother.

"Robbie" he smiled a little but started to rub the back of his neck nervously.

"You look so much like your brother" I smiled as I took in the same chocolate short hair and green eyes.

"I get that a lot" he returned my smile as I went back to stand at Eddie's side.

"Well dinner is nearly ready" the rest of them went back inside

"I thought you said none of them looked like you?" he smirked.

"I just don't see it" he led the way inside and I must say that I was impressed. The interior was a modern cream design but each room was personalized. Although they still had the dark, wooden beams to keep the antique home-look.

After a lovely home-made spaghetti bolognse, Eddie showed me the way to my room.

"I'm right across the hall if you need me" Eddie said, stopping outside a room and nodding to the door opposite, wiggling his eyebrows. I hit him playfully on the chest.

"Shut up" I opened the door and he followed me in.

I think my room was my favorite of all the ones I'd already seen. The beams were dark but contrasted well with the lilac walls. There was a few pictures of sunsets that lined the walls and a dark dresser, wardrobe, and bedside table to match the beams. The bed was a queen-sized, four-poster that stood proudly against one wall and to finish the beautiful room there was a lilac window seat under the large window.

"Like it?" Eddie asked, trying to read my expression

"Love it!" I tried not to squeal as I threw my arms around his neck.

It was while in that embrace that it came to me.

Eddie had done so much for me, more than my blood-related family and I think...

I think I'm falling for him.
