Prologue

A life behind the scenes. A life without friends. A life without a family. This life hit 6-year-old Jessica West. She lives since she can remember in this Vrak of Children's Home, which she calls home. She has only one wish. Family. All she has is a little cuddly bunny who was with her when she was sent to the children's home. She just wants a normal life, without a children's home and all the other stuff. She sits in a corner on her bed and shivers.

Yesterday, a boy who goes to High School stole her blanket from her. He came to her room and mocked her and asked her something, which she did not answer. Then it was enough for the boy and he dragged her her blanket, where she crouched. Since it was never really warm in the home she freeze now. But it would not be long before she would jump up and repeat her blanket.

So Jessica straightened up and trudged with some shaky legs to the boy's room and made himself big. She knocked on the door, but not as expected, the boy opened the door, but a girl. The girl looked around and then looked down at little Jessica, who stood there and looked at the girl with wide eyes. Jessica looked at her for a while, but then decided not to look at the girl any longer and started to speak when a boy's voice rang out.

"Maja! What takes so long?!" - "Here is a little girl, what stares at me! Is that normal? Something like your pet or something? So I do not know, but that's a bit scary... Are you coming for a break?" said the girl and out of the room came a loud moan. One heard deep steps and not a second later, there was a boy who was free of upper body.

Jessica swallowed for a moment and looked a little anxious. When the boy saw her, he rolled his eyes. "What do you want here?!" He said then visibly pissed Jessica breathed in and out. "My blanket! I want my blanket again! She belongs to me!" She said, trying to sound strong and now Maja looked confused and angry at the same time, she suddenly became really grim and looked at the boy in disapproval.

"So you have the second blanket?! You are such a lousy ass! You can't take this little cute girl off her blanket!! Really Jack! I had expected more from you!" That was about 10 minutes and at some point it was enough for the boy and he pulled Jessica's blanket out of the room and tossed her to her, you could barely blink, the little girl had already run away.

Today, Jessica is 13 years old and very gifted and smart for her age. She currently sitting in class 7 and is only half listening to the teacher as she floats in thoughts with the Avengers, but what she does'nt know is that she already will soon meet they...
