The one eyed princess

What got me into this situation?

Hi. My name is Ichika Kaneki. You may be wondering what got me into this specific situation. You may be surprised to find out that  having an army of dragon children, as well as two ghouls living in the past, storm into my whole school assembly isn't exactly what I had planned to happen today. Who would have thought I wasn't completely prepared to be dangled by the legs by one of those two ghouls, and hadn't yet put in my calendar "note to self, practice being scared, it doesn't matter that you are bad at drama, you will have to act in front of the whole school".

I sniffed. I could smell one boy, one girl, both idiots. The boy was the one holding me upside down and after looking around for a bit, I spotted the girl. Upon seeing her, and the marks on her arm, my assumptions because reality. Yup. It was the dragon parents. Furuta's legacy.

Some ghouls spent a prolonged period of time with the dragon orphans when they were first born, neither side attacked, they just sat there, and after several days, one of the dragon orphans sat next to them. They thought these ghouls were their parents, and therefore obeyed every command given to them. Seeing as the ghouls had spent so much time with them, they began to absorb the rc cells that the dragon orphans breathed out, and became closer to being one and the same, by this point the dragon orphans had found a family, so we call the creatures that joined them dragon children instead of orphans, very few of them are dragon children, but the ones that are can be a real pain. You could tell the ghouls apart by the red marks left there from rc cells.

Their plan might have been the most stupid I had ever heard. A few minutes ago they were loudly whispering to each other "we can lure her out, then capture her and force her to join us."
"Ok, but how?"
"Ok get this, we get someone in her year that is like her best friend and dangle them by the legs, threatening to chop her head off if the one eyed princess doesn't submit to us." A great big goofy smile crossed his face that I could see from the back of the hall. "Oh shit"' I thought to myself, "how dumb are these people?"

Skip back to me being held upside down, they ended up deciding that whichever human smelt the most like a ghoul would be my best friend as my scent would have worn off on them. Ok. Not that bad of a plan. Or at least it wouldn't have been if they had taken into account that I was in that room. They ended up deciding that I was my own best friend. Does that say something about my social life? Oh well. The problem isn't how I got into this situation but rather how I am going to get out of it. I can't answer that question yet.
