8- Mishap

NEXT DAY !

Everything was progressing smoothly, yet the tension hanged in the air.

Riku's head rested on top of his hands, he seemed to be focusing.
Iori fidgeted uncharacteristically, and glanced at Riku a few times.
Yamato was simply sitting with a smile on his face but I think he is the one who cares about all this the most.
Even Tamaki was a bit serious, he held the puding bottle against his forehead.
Sogo seemed to be nervous; looking at Tamaki being serious seemed to cheer him up
Nagi smiled with amusement, he looked excited like he was about to watch anime.
Mitsuki took the situation in and decided to lighten the mood.

"Guys today is the day ! We will be performing 'Let's Summer' live for the first time. Let's make it so nobody can forget our performance."

"Nii-san we aren't actually depressed, you know?"

"Shut up Iori! Let me act cool for once!"

Everybody burst out laughing at the brothers exchange. The Nervousness in the atmosphere was replaced with excitement. Yamato ruffled Mitsuki's hair and called everyone in for a huddle.

He called Tsumugi in and even me. But somehow I felt guilty. So I said that I wanted to watch. They were a bit pushy at first but accepted reculantly when I said I'd do it when I worked as hard as them.

"I am so excited!" Riku exclaimed

"Really Nanase-san? You seemed pretty nervous to me." Iori teased. Just look at his eyes shine

"Shut up, Iori! I mean it, somehow I feel like something exciting is awaiting us like a Majestic Future beckoning us ahead." Riku said passionately

"Well, I agree with our center. Beyond this stage is a performance which may lead us to something great. Even though it is just on the road side, the significance of small things together turns out to be very big" Yamato concluded

There was a call from Banri. Seven glittering jewels went on the stage.

Finally it was time, we saved the best for the last, when the crowd was at its peak. I felt nervous as if it was me performing. I squeezed my eyes shut with fingers crossed waiting for the song to play. When it began playing something wierd happened, I heard two of the same song overlapping. When I opened my eyes what I saw changed my life forever.

It was Trigger their new MV 'Let's Summer' was broadcasted across every skyscraper. The song ended with much commenting. Frankly you were shocked, you never expected something like this would happen. You rush backstage to cheer them up. They had finished changing and were sitting, dejected

" I am sure this is some sort of mishap! Don't worry, I am sure they didn't intend to steal you song!" You say

"'Don't worry'? Don't say such half-assed words when you don't know how much effort we put in! In the first place are you sure that this isn't your doing!?" Iori burst

You felt an arrow pierce through your heart.  Of course, it was natural to feel suspicious

"I am sorry!" Iori immediately apologized    

"It's okay, I am sorry" you say and turn cutting him off and run away

Iori glances at his members before announcing he will go after you. Instinctively Riku follows him trying to remind him he didn't wear a mask, before others followed the two Tsumugi stepped in and ordered others to stay put.

As the Azure and crimson haired males chase you through a well known alley leading to the market.

"I am sorry!" Iori screams

"It's okay" you reply without stopping

"Then why are you running!" Iori asks

"I don't know! maybe because I can't accept the fact Trigger stole your song!" You reply

Since you were running while looking back you bump into someone. It was....
