This day my life was changed forever. I wouldn't ever see her again. Ever.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember seeing her in my arms, the blood and a smoking gun. When he heard the sirens he ran. The man who stabbed my future wife. The tears running down our faces. I wasn't ready to let her go. She said "don't forget me" as she shut her eyes. That was the moment I lost it. I couldn't breath. My eyes were blurry.
This was the last time I would see her. As the cops came in and arrested me, I tried to fight back. I saw the paramedics carry a body bag out of the chapel.
I didn't get to say goodbye...
