I've been here before, this dark and scary place. I always get out, but somehow I find myself falling in again. It's like a forest, dark and scary, easy to get lost in. You feel like you're starting to go crazy, you're hearing voices, they're screaming at you, "END IT, YOU'RE NOT LOVED, EVERYONE WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU". You start to believe them. Who are they Really? You never really know, you'll never know what's truly inside that forest with you, you may have an idea, but you're never sure.

I sit here on the bathroom floor; the cold, slick tile under my legs. I feel warm tears streaming down my face, I don't know why... I can't feel anything. I sit there wishing my life would end. I have attempted many times before, but every time, something stops me. Is it my family? Is it my friends? I don't really know, but every time I stop myself, each time I do this I feel another weight being laid on my shoulders, another burden I have to bear. "When will this misery end?" I ask myself. What a silly question... It ends when you're ready.

The tears seem to escape my eyes at a faster speed than before, but my confusion still stands. Why am I crying? I don't feel anything... Why don't I feel anything? I sit here, looking at the blood streaming down my arms and my legs, I don't do anything about it. Why waste time cleaning it? I reach for the gun. Why did I bring it in? It may be because I had the feeling that I wouldn't be able to make it out of this room. I lift the gun up, possibly weighing 10 pounds, I hold it in my hand... And at that moment I knew I wouldn't be stopping myself this time. This was my last and final attempt.

The small, dark weapon fits perfectly in my hand. I lift the barrel to my temple, the cold is soothing, it tells me that it will all be over soon. I hear the slight click as I turn off the safety. My finger lays on the trigger, and I'm sobbing harder than ever now, but I don't feel anything. I'm not scared, I'm not happy, I feel nothing, but the longing for it all to be over. I put a little more pressure on the trigger, and with a loud *BANG* I no longer see or feel anything. I feel peace. I then see a bright, white light... when the light fades I look around... Am I above Earth?
