Veronica's Diary entry #2
Dear Diary, my parents just told me they're going away for almost a year. ALMOST A YEAR! Think about that. Huge penthouse to a 16-year-old girl. No parents. No anything. That means I have to go grocery shopping for myself. Luckily, my parents are leaving me a shopping list saying " Don't forget, Get lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, smoothies, breakfast shakes, pancake mix, bread, and four things of your choice.". And then I found a list of chores I have to give to the maid. And then they had the chauffeur all booked for my rides for going to Broadway, my friend's house for a sleepover, movie theater, etc. I got to go. My parents are already packed and want to say their goodbyes. Toodles ;)
