There was a body laying at Theo's feet. The face was bloodied and unrecognizable, but he could tell by the fur coat and skirt that it was Klaus.
Screams escaped his mouth as he fell to his knees, he grabbed the pale hand with dirt and blood stuck under the fingernails and held it close as he cried.
"No...no... Klaus, baby, please" he hopelessly pleaded. Another shout erupted from him as he sobbed.
"Theo..Theo!"
Theo shot up and grabbed onto the person sitting next to him, he wailed as the person rocked him slowly and sang quietly to him. It was Klaus. Even over his own cries and shouts, he would always be able to hear Klaus's voice.
Klaus planted a kiss on the man's temple as he started to calm down. "You're safe now, I promise."
This brought a sad smile to Theo's face. He would always say that when he used his abilities to calm down Klaus when he was having nightmares. Klaus would never know, though. Theo would never be able to bring himself to tell Klaus about his freakish powers.
