the party was starting to get to my head, i got a huge headache. we're heading to his house right now. why, is something happening?

Daniel

nahh just wondering, i saw u guys leave and i was confused cuz the party isnt over until midnight. sorry to disturb.

it's totally all right! see you at school.

Daniel

yup.

"Who you texting?" asked Jack while peeking his head onto Zach's phone. Zach gasped and turned his phone, "Keep your eyes on the road! I'd like to be at your house alive, thank you. And it was just Daniel, he was wondering where we went."

Jack furrowed his eyebrows, "How did he know we left?"

"'Dunno, should I ask?"

"Yeah."

"'K."

hey, how'd you see us leave? sorry i overthink too much lol.

Daniel

i was just going to get a drink when i saw u two leave. 

Me

ohhh gotchu

"He said he was going to get a drink and saw us."

Jack was still unsure, "All right."

Jack walked Zach into his room, "So, I know we left early, but why not have a little party of our own?"

Zach furrowed his eyebrows, "Huh?"

"Well, luckily, I just bought myself a speaker, totally not planning for this at all, trust me, and we can, y'know, honestly I just can't speak. Let's dance." said Jack while connecting his phone to the speaker. Zach just laughed, "I think you're too popular to dance with me."

"Oh really?"

"Mhm. What would I, an outsider, do with a totally popular jock?"

"You've crossed the line, better step back."

"Like you'll be stepping on my toes when dancing."

Jack faked taking offense, "That's mean."

Zach smiled mischievously, "I know."

The first two notes of the song started playing and Zach immediately recognized it as No Control by One Direction, "No you didn't."

Jack smiled and started twirling them around the room, "Oh yes I did." He shook his hair around like a crazy person as the chorus started playing.

They screamed the lyrics in unison, "I'M ALL YOURS I GOT NO CONTROL, NO CONTROL!"

"I love this song!" yelled Zach over the lyrics.

"I know! Same!"

Louis started singing and Jack put a hand on his heart, "The feels... they're too much."

"Oh get up you sap." yanked Zach while connecting their hands. They ran around the room like children, "I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF YOU!"

Their smiles were bigger than their faces, brightly dancing around the room with no care in the world.

A song called 'Better' by Khalid started playing and Zach dramatically sighed, "I'm so tired of love songs."

Jack raised an eyebrow, "Really?" Zach nodded, "Yeah."

"So I'll just go and change thi-"

"Eh, I think this song is an exception."

Zach wrapped his arms around Jack, "You smell like roses."

"Oh?"

"Yeah."

"Is that a good thing or-"

"Of course. Who doesn't like roses?"

Jack just nodded to himself, "True."

Zach rose his head up and smiled at him, "You're perfect."

Jack cockily laughed, "Um, duh. I'm Jack Avery, bitch."

Zach pursed his lips, "And I'm Zach Herron, bitch."

Jack stiffened when hearing his last name, but wasn't going to let that idiot ruin his night.
