Chapter 1: New Girl

Cameron's P.O.V

Why does it have to happen? I don't understand what I did wrong to deserve this. Oh, sorry let me introduce myself my name is Cameron I know it is a boys name but whatever. I am 17 years old. I am a senior in highschool and I go to Bridgeview Highschool.

I am what you would call a "nerd" or a "geek". I love to read and write. I like to keep my grades up so I don't fail. Before my senior year I acctually was on online school.

Today is my first day of senior year so I am very nervous. "Cam get your ass up already" and that folk is my older brother, Dylan. He is only a few years older than me but he is the only family I have. My parents died in a car crash coming home from work. They only died a few months back so it is just me and Dylan.

After they died I fell into a stage of depression and i also developed anxiety. I have never really been the social type of person. My brother thought it would be goodto put me in a local highschool instead of online school. Anyways, I get up and hop into the shower. After I got out I brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair. I straightened my hair and walked into my room to get dressed. I just put on a pair of ripped black jeans, a grey hoodie, and my trusty black vans.

I head downstairs and go to the kitchen. I walked in and saw Dylan at the island eating a bowl of cereal and playing on his phone. He looked up when he heard me walk in and gave me a smile. "Thank god I thought I was going to have to drag your ass down the stairs" he said. "Ha Ha Dylan you are so hilarious" I said. "Oh i know Cam. Are you going to eat before school?" He asked. "No i am not really hungry" I replied. After that we walked outside and started driving to my new school.
