"How much and what I eat is none of your concern now get ready to go" he glared at where he guessed her head was.
"Mr. Aizawa? What's going on down there?" Kirishima asked.
"Villains"
"You can't be a hero with only one trick kid"
Screams.
"AIZAWA-SENSEI!"
"Why are you here?"
"To kill All Might"
"I'm not the final boss, he is"
Blood.
"Oh Eraserhead, you are good"
"His name is Nomu"
"We're doomed"
Breaking bones.
"I AM HERE"
"Get him out of here"
"This is what it means, to be PLUS ULTRA!"
Bandages.
"He's gonna make it, his quirk will be severely restrained and he won't be able to continue his work as a hero like he did before, but maybe eventually he will be able to get close to it" Recovery girl breathed out, exasperated. "What is with all of my favorite people getting hurt recently" she quietly asked herself. It's not that she specifically always loved Aizawa, but since Ishi showed up she knows that Aizawa has become a great man, he may not always show it, but it's there. She thinks of him like a grandchild, far more than she does with most people though. "He needs a bit of rest but he should be able to resume teaching soon," she told Nemuri and Nezu.
"If only I had gotten there sooner" Toshinori idealizes from the bed on the other side of the curtain.
"There's nothing you could have done" Nezu soothes.
"Yeah there is, maybe if he actually thought about his job with the children and not so much about the general public then he wouldn't have been so worn out, he would have been on the trip as planned and Aizawa never would have had to get hurt" Nemuri argues, making Toshinori blanche, he didn't quite expect anyone to be mad at him. His statement was one of those empty ones like when someone says 'I would die for you' and they don't really mean it.
"Now now, the public is just as important as the students"
"If the students die training then who will protect the public after this wilting symbol of peace dies!"
"Who will the students protect if there is no public left?"
There are hundreds of thousands of other heroes aside from the few that work at U.A. they can protect the public especially when it's something like bank robbers on the way to work, it's their job and I don't know if you've forgotten but its not really his anymore, he decided to be a heroics teacher, temporarily putting the public second and the students first" she preached making Toshinori hang his head in shame.
"I have nothing to say for myself, I was blinded by my desire to help the person right in front of me not thinking of the repercussions"
"Don't do it again, or the symbol of peace won't be killed by a villain, It will be me" she turns angrily, her long hair swishing around slapping the curtain and a bit of her own face.
"Behind me is the 'Unforeseen simulation joint' where class 1-A was attacked by villains just over an hour ago. The biologically engineered weapon was defeated by All Might and taken into custody along with several dozen other low-level villains, regrettably, the main perpetrators were able to get away with the aid of a warp gate quirk. The injuries in the attack were surprisingly small in comparison to the scale of the destruction, Pro hero Eraserhead was airlifted to the hospital after a tough battle with the bio-engineered weapon as well and the rescue hero #13 and All Might, one student also went to the hospital with major bone fractures though it does not seem to be life-threatening. The rest of the nineteen students were left with only minor scrapes and bruises." A news reporter explains through the television in Ishi's room. The girl's eyes wide in shock, nobody had told her about any incidents.
So she did the only thing she could think of, left her room, bandages in hand, looked through the apartment building for someone's phone assuming they would be notified of anything that was going on. Specifically what hospital he was in. When she found Hizashi's phone on the table she flipped through his messages and found one from Nemuri saying "Aizawa being taken to Mustafa general, see you later, tell you what we know when we know it" Mustafa General. Ishi switched to the maps app, fear and anxiety coursing through her, hands shaking so much that she was hardly able to type in the correct address and press the 'speak instructions' button in the corner.
"Leave U.A. highschool campus" the animatronic voice instructed. She took a second to gasp in a steadying breath, she hadn't left the U.A. campus on her own since she first came, but this was for Aizawa, and he was worth any pain she had to endure to get to him.
Her snakes hissed at her, borderline shouting about how horrible of an idea it was, that she should stay put and wait for them to come home, but she ignored them, wrapped the bandages around her head and between their bodies. Then put the phone in her hidden shorts' pocket and started walking to the door, she knew where everything was in the U.A. campus, she didn't even need her snakes to tell her, but they did anyway. Habit.
"Hey! Is that a first-year" Nejire Hadou asked.
"Who!?" Mirio asked.
"Over there!" she pointed to Ishi who was nearly to the front gates.
"She isn't wearing a uniform, but she couldn't get in if she didn't have an I.D., what do you think Tamaki?" he asked lifting the shy boy's chin.
Tamaki looked up just a little bit, just enough that he could see her, and think about the question, or at least try to. But he couldn't make himself, it wasn't that he didn't know if she was a student because clearly, she wasn't. In his mind, anyone without a uniform (especially when they are wearing a greek style toga) could not be a student unless suddenly there were cultural clubs that he wasn't told about. But not only that, she had bandages all over, the ones that stood out, however, were the ones over her eyes, nobody could be a hero if they couldn't see.
His mind came up with the answer almost instantaneously, so that's not what he was thinking while he stood there quiet and looking at her. No, he was thinking about the fact that she looked beautiful, not the traditional kind of beautiful made up in magazines to be things like 'slim but sexy' 'blonde hair over black' 'foundation, foundation, foundation', all of it propaganda to sell more products. No, no, no, she was beautiful in that tragic kind of way that he supposed all broken things usually were. Her skin was so white and shining that it might very well be made of sparkling pearl, her eyebrows were furrowed and mouth slightly down turned, one of her lips being bitten slightly by a pointed tooth. Her hands were shaking but not with cold, with an emotion he knew quite well. Fear. Not irrational fear, justified fear, the kind that came from experience, that you can only get from going through hell and coming back differently than when you entered. The kind of fear that is only felt by broken people. People a little bit like him.
