It was a usual, boring Spring Friday for me, Amber O'Bryant. I was sitting at the computer, listening to music, and talking to my best friend, Annika Beveire. I wanted something exciting to happen. Then for no reason at all I looked out the window and saw something. Something that would show me what understanding and kindness is. Something that would turn into promise and show me what love is all about. That something, would change my entire life, forever.
(A/N: Hey guys!! So I started writing this book when I was fourteen with my then best friend. Things happened to where she's no longer my best friend but I wanted to finish this, which I finally did this year. Now I am no professional, but this book is dear to my heart because it is my first one. And I used to fantasize about something like this happening to me. In a way, Amber is how I view myself.
