Me and Dianne walk into my house with smiles on our faces when I hear shouting coming from the living room
Me and Dianne walk in
"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LET HIM WALK OUT THAT DOOR " dad yells
"DO NOT BLAME THIS ON ME GRAHAM. I LOVE OUR SON. ZOE TOLD ME WHERE HE IS AND HE IS SAFE "Mum say
I cough slightly and both their heads turn to us.
"Joe, we were so worried " Mum says
"I can see that " I say
"Hello Dianne" Mum says
"Hiya Tracy. If this is not a good time for me to be here then I can go " Dianne says
"Dianne it's fine . Let's take this bag upstairs " I say
I take Dianne to my room and sit on the bed
"I'm sorry Joe, I don't realise how bad it was between your parents ." Dianne says sitting on the bed
"It's okay. I'm used to it " I say sitting beside her
There's a knock on the door
"Come in " I say
Zoe walks in with tears in her eyes .
"Have the finished arguing " Zoe says shakily .
Dianne gets up and sits her on the bed
"It's okay Zoe . Just breathe in and out " Dianne says crouching down
I wrap my arm around Zoe comfortingly.
Dianne closes the door and then takes her hand
"Zoe . I need you to listen to me. Deep breaths . Copy me. In and out ."Dianne says
Zoe slowly begins to calm down
Dianne takes a tissue and hands her it
"Thank you both " Zoe says
"Hey don't worry you both know where I am if it ever gets to much " Dianne says
"It's getting worse isn't it " I say sitting on the bed
"You two can do this . You just need to help each other "Dianne says
"We're all always going to there for each other " I say
"Can I say something " Dianne says
"Yes" I say
"I'm moving to Australia . I got accepted into a really great dance school" Dianne says
I smile widely as Zoe's face lights up
"Dianne that's amazing congratulations " Zoe says hugging her tightly
"Joe,did you know about this " Zoe says
"I was there when she got the letter this Morning" I say
"Dianne, you'll be missed but this is an amazing offer." Zoe says
"I just have to email them my final answer "Dianne explains
"Well why dint we do it now" Zoe says
I get my laptop and Dianne writes out the email
"Are you ready " i says
"No I'm scared " she sassy
"It's now or never Buswell " I say
Dianne hits send and we both hug here
"You three Tea's ready" I hear my mum yell
We all go downstairs to se my dad not in.
We all sit at the table
"Mum, Dianne has something to tell you " I say
"I'm moving the Australia .i got accepted into one of the best dance schools in the world " Dianne says
"Oh my god darling that's amazing " Mum says
I take hold of Dianne's hand
"Also mum we have something to tell you " I say
"Meet my girlfriend " I say
"You two are together " My mum Says
Dianne smiles
"Congratulations " She says hugging Dianne
Later on
11pm
I lay in bed with Dianne. I hear the door slam .
"My dads home " I say
I hear screaming and shouting
Tears prick my eyes
"Don't cry Joe. It's okay " Dianne says hugging me tighter
"It's hell and I hate it so fucking much " I say
"You can do this Joe. It's okay " Dianne says
"I can't live here. Not anymore "I say
"Joe you know there's always my place" Dianne says
"Stay with me tonight " I say
"Of course " Dianne says
