Life, a person's life really begins when they've really opened their eyes. My life started when I was staring into the most angelic eyes that I've ever had the pleasure of gazing into, their eyes were a bewitching Caribbean blue held by around pale face with the most adorable dimple in their chin, with radiant sunflower blond hair to complete their beauty. But before I go into how much I truly love this person, I should go back to explain how we came to be together, and that is a colorful story that even though it's painful at times I wouldn't ask for anything else.

A few days earlier

My day started like any other, with tea rose sun rising across a coral, lilac and amber sky. But even though the day was dazzling, my life hasn't been as pleasant because you see I'm being bullied, because of something that makes me who I am, something I should be proud of. You see I'm gay, and not everyone approves of that.

No matter if you're the smartest person in your school or even the best athlete they don't care, you still are seen as if there's something wrong with you. Even though it's legal to have gay marriage most people still look down on you, they look at you like there's something seriously wrong with you, like you've got a screw loose or something.

I told my friends and family who I was, my parents took it well but some of my so-called friends not so much. Most of my friends were happy for me, I think, but then there was the few that wanted to be heard. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU," they said "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU GUYS THINK THAT THIS IS OK", you'd think that people who called themselves your friends would be happy for you, but for me, they told the whole school and spread rumors about me and my sexuality.

I arrived at school to see everyone staring at me, as if waiting for me to say or do something gay, but instead I just put my head down and keep walking. "LEXA!" My head shoots up after hearing someone call my name, as I turn around to find out who called my name I'm shocked as I'm attacked with the biggest hug I've ever witnessed. "Ok....... Eliza you can let go now" my best friend, the person who's stayed by me no matter what, the only person who doesn't see me as a mistake this is the one person I trust.
