Chapter 1: The Call That Changes Everything..

Maya just got home from her day in school or as she refers to it as hell. Her older sister Priscilla passed by and said "Ew hi ugly" and continued talking to her best friend Melissa.

Maya started to remember the first time she met David it was at Melissa's quince. He's her brother, and she talked to him on Facebook but never really met him. He just came up to her and started talking to her about nothing but everything at the same time. He just took some of the flowers off the floor, and just threw them at maya they started a flower fight.

After that she started talking to him more he became her best friend, and that lead to them being more. He asked her out of course Maya said yes. She liked him a lot, she even loved him he became that important to her. They've been dating for 7 months in a week I'd be 8 months.

Anyways she went to her room where her little sister Alaina was on Maya's bed. Maya was having this weird feeling like something's wrong. She asked Alaina "Hey can't you get off my bed" she asked really softly. Alaina got off Maya's bed knowing something was wrong with her.

Maya ignored the feeling by listening to her music on her iPhone. She was listening to "Your Mine- Mariah Carey" then it stopped all of a sudden, she looked at her phone her boyfriend David was calling, she picked up right away. "Hey David" she said happily.

"Hey Maya, we need to talk" David said. His voice it sounded off, like he had some bad news or like something just happened.

"Yea, what is it David ?" Her voice got softer than usual..

"I think that maybe it's for the best if.."

Then Maya cut him off she hung up before he could say anything else. She got under her covers and keeper saying "Wake up Maya, wake up. This is just a dream. It HAS to be a dream this can't be happening right now. Oh my god this is really happening"

Maya picked up the phone and called David, "Hey David, what were you going to say.. You know before I hung up.. You weren't going to say we need to break right ?"

David slowly answered "Actually yea, Maya I'm sorry.. I want to break up because I don't need you in my life, your just holding me back"

Maya was speechless for a moment and she said "Okay David if that's what you really want, if that makes you happy then okay.." And then she hung up.

Maya completely broke she started crying, and she couldn't stop. She started thinking about their first kiss and about their first kiss. All the memories came back at once. She couldn't breath, couldn't talk, couldn't move, she could just cry.. Priscilla came in Maya's room and saw her on her bed crying.

"Oh my god Maya what's wrong oh my god come here" Priscilla said with all the kindness she had, and she just hugged Maya like there was no tomorrow.

Maya barely stopped crying and said "I can't face him on Monday, I'm going to ask if I can switch schools", and started crying again. Maya mom agreed that it'd be better for me to switch schools, but it's be the only time she'd let me. She knew a couple people from Rosen High School so he decided to go there.
