I was always afraid of abandonment and other common social functions. This is why I never took the time to make lasting connections. When I did the person often left or we simply grew apart. I hold no one accountable for their absence. Everyone comes into your life for a lesson, once you learn it, they leave. You were the most intoxicating lesson I was ever given and I cherish every lovely memory we created together.
