"Why, Adam?" I said to him, holding back my own tears as he stood in front of me letting his fall. "Why are you letting this all be a jumbled mess?"
Elisha, I don't know," He said as he ran his fingers through his coarse hair. "All I know is that-"
"Is what, Adam? Is that you don't see us in the same light anymore? That you're happy I'm leaving? Why aren't you fixing this like I am trying to!"
He looked away, trying his best to hide his frustration and anger towards me. He let out a heavy breath.
"God dammit, Adam, answer me!" I yelled at him, feeling my own frustration burst and my tears pour down.
"I don't know anymore, okay?" He yelled, finally in his snapping point. I was taken aback from his outburst, him scaring me almost.
He let out another breath before his face relaxed and he changed his demeanor back to normal.
"I don't know anymore," he said, but this time with more sadness behind his tone. He sounded empty, almost defeat. "I don't know anything anymore Elisha, because the only thing I know how to do anymore is loving you."
