backstory:
Ryuk was born in Brooklyn NY. Ryuk would suffer immense torture for the first 7 years of her life because of her mentally unstable father who kidnapped her when he divorced her mother. Ryuk's mother was always trying to take ryuk out of her father's custody but every time she'd try Ryuks father would threaten to kill her baby girl. It took Ryuk's mother 5 years to save her daughter from her ex-husband's hands. this was achieved when ryuk killed him. then 3 years later Ryuks mother moved to Seoul for Kimo therapy for her stage 3 lung cancer. The only complication was money. her mother worked as a nurse in a small town before she was diagnosed causing Ryuk to turn to the local gang. Monsta x. she has been paying for her mother's medical bills for the past year before her mother finally past the last march.
