This is where we begin, many people don't remember their past life... many want to remember...and many wish to forget, but we all have to push through life because our past isn't important anymore, right? that's what I thought.

I'm one of the many who wishes to forget, who doesn't want to feel this horrific heart ache anymore, I wish it would go away, but at the same time I want to remember... to keep them special memories close, to remember their faces and hopes for the next day to be even more special.

No.Lee, I'm sorry. I will let go and be focus on my path. I wish you were still here; maybe I wouldn't be in this mess but here we are, I hope you are smiling upon me... guide me please...

I know you would want me to charge through the day and never give up, but each day is getting harder and harder. I don't know where my limit is but I do know you wouldn't want me to be weak! I hope you are proud of me... I will see you soon

[past: Flashback (before apocalypse) clem POV]

Silently, Clementine was leant up against a quite large oak tree with music loudly blasting in her ears; she nodded her head quietly to herself without realising her surroundings. Her music cut off. ''Huh?!'' Clem startled out with confusion. ''Pftf~ha'' said a familiar voice to Clementine. Out of interest Clem opened one eye to her surprise was Sarah, a close friend to Clementine since a young tot..

''heh~ you scared me there Sarah'' Clementine said almost a mumble, while Clem would stretch and yawn from sitting out in the sun causing her to feel more tired by the second. She would sit up from slouching for too long.

Sarah would stare at Clementine as if Clementine was a crazy person ''uh, Clem are you okay?'' Sarah blurred out from the moment of silence, Sarah finally caught all Clem's attention.

''What do you mean?''Clem nervously said back to Sarah with hesitation at first. By now Sarah is already sat down right next to Clementine. Looking sadly at the ground while flickering her eyes towards Clementine now and again ''I mean, it isn't really like you to be by yourself outside, I would of thought you would have came looking for me that's all...''

Sharply Clem turned her head to Sarah, she would jokingly nudge Sarah slightly on the arm with a crunched, tight fist. ''ah~ sorry Sarah, I guess I lost track of time...plus I think I needed this alone time, it was calming while it lasted'' Clem would smile in Sarah's direction for her kindness to be ignored.

Bluntly ,while still looking forward with no emotion or tone in her voice Sarah whispered, ''I see... you wanted to be away from me...I guess I am really clingy...'' Confused Clementine tried to explain herself, trying to not look or even feel guilty ''No! it's not that Sarah, I guess it's just that I wanted to clear my head a bit because of all the stress of school'' To clear the air from all the seriousness a bit Clem tried to lighten the mood.

''You know Mrs Hillary, dang can you believe that she is married.. poor fella'' Clem chuckled to herself and finally Sarah joined in. ''hah! yeah I feel bad for the guy'' Sarah smiled widely now feeling a lot more calmer from before.
