A large, devilish grin came across his face. "Yeah. I did."
I stared at him, dumbfounded. "Why?! Are you a psychopath?! Do you pour the milk first in your cereal, too?!"
"Who doesn't?"
At this, I practically exploded, much to the amusement of Sally and Ash. Larry knew he was getting under my skin, making this all the more annoying for me.
Ash, wanting to avoid any physical confrontation, piped up. "Why don't we just play a board game? Y/N, you said you had a bunch?"
Larry smiled smugly, knowing that the last thing I wanted to do was gloss over this. For Ashley's sake, I nodded, biting down on the inside of my cheek.
"Yeah," I grit, "I've got pretty much everything. Scrabble, Trouble, Sorry, Monopoly-,"
"Monopoly." Sal interrupted, "I love that game. It's the only game where I can play as a shoe."
I gave a full-hearted laugh, bending down to the television stand to pull out the game. "Alright, Monopoly it is then."
It took about twenty minutes to set up the game. Everyone kept arguing over what piece they wanted, who was going to be the banker, how much money everyone started with, etc.
Sal and Larry had a border-line fistfight over who was going to play as the shoe. Ash and I had to pry them apart, and I dug through some old barbie crap to find a second shoe. I had wanted to use cleanliness level to decide who went first (Just to make sure Larry was dead last), but Ash insisted we roll the dice to determine the order. Now, lined up at the GO box was the ship(me), the hat(Ash), the hot pink barbie heel(Larry), and the shoe(Sal).
The game went on as usual, and everyone was having a great time. That was, until Larry landed on one of my owned properties: The boardwalk.
"No. I'm not paying that much to Y/N." Larry leaned back, crossing his arms in disdain. "Not going to happen."
"You have to, Larry," Ash laughed, "It's part of the game. You don't have a choice."
"Nope. Not happening." The boy scrunched his face and turned his face away like a toddler pouting.
"Don't worry about it, guys," I said, a smug grin on my face, "Larry's just upset because he knows I'm gonna' win."
"What?" Larry did not look happy. He gave me the 'How dare you' look.
"You heard me." I went back to organizing my cash, not looking him in the eyes.
I felt a light slap on my arm as Larry's payment was thrown at me. "I don't need this money. I'm going to beat you."
"Oh, yeah?" I said, turning to him.
My grin was met with bared teeth.
"Yeah," He growled.
"Oh, It's on motherfucker."

This was it: The peak of the night.
Sal and Ash were giggling to each other as they watched us. I was rolling on the floor, hands clutching my stomach as I howled with laughter. Larry stood, the angriest expression I've ever seen plastered on his face. Scattered over the floor were hotels, houses, pawns, and money; All lying around a flipped board.
Sal and Ash had gone bankrupt (partially on purpose so they could go talk together in the kitchen), leaving me and Larry to the game. I had bought a good portion of Sal and Ash's properties, so most of the board was mine. After about another twenty minutes of playing, I had almost all the money. The only thing I was missing was one five-hundred-dollar bill, which had been clutched desperately in Larry's hand.
