Before reading I want to extend my thanks to you for even clicking on my story as an option. I hope you enjoy what you are to find later on. More than anything else, I see fiction as being a way to show us struggles, to makes us more empathetic, and to gives us stories that can be heartbreaking at times, but so realistic that we must continue to read. I hope that the collection of these short stories infused with social issues, with culture, and with intense themes at times can do that for you.
I hope that these stories by the end of your reading experience impact you. I hope we can both learn from them, what each person takes from fiction is different, but that's what's so unique.
