Chance

Storms P.O.V-
I stared out the window of the moving truck from the passenger seat my brother Oliver in the drivers. Oliver stared ahead we haven't said a word to each other since we left the driveway it was a nice silence though a wall that blocked out the nervousness and neither of us dared to knock it down. I reached forward and turned on the radio changing the station a few times before I stopped at the station that played my favorite song and leaned back into the seat humming along and closing my eyes my brothers voice broke my trance the first word since  six hours ago I opened my eyes "what?" I asked "you hungry?" He asked again I shook my head "okay" he said turning off at the next exit and pulled up to Dell Taco I closed my eyes.
My consciousness returned for a slight second as I felt my brother lift me from the car and carry me away from the car but lost it shortly after. I woke up in a hotel room my brother laying next to me on his computer I yawned and scooted over cuddling into him resting my head on his lap "whatcha doin'" I asked my voice still thick with sleep "watching porn" he said I rolled my eyes "ooookay" we both laughed "where's my phone?" I asked "charging on the table" Oliver replied I sighed and sat up swinging my feet over the bed and stood walking over to the desk across the room and picked up my phone pressing the home button and unlocked it and checked the battery fully charged.
As soon as we were ready and checked out we were on the road again. It felt like forever but finally we pulled in front of my new apartment complex and I smiled and got out of the car and walked up to the building my brother right on my heels. We walked up the steps up to the fourth story and went in the hall was long and narrow with a long row of doors on either side. We walked down to the end and turned right this hallway identical to the one before it we walked down until we reached number 129. I looked at Oliver he looked back he nodded in encouragement I bit my lip and nodded back taking the key out of my pocket and turning back to the door and unlocked it and walked inside.

We finished unpacking around six and the both of us collapsed on the couch afterwards,exhausted. "Excited for work tomorrow?" Oliver asked kicking up his feet onto the coffee table I shrugged "awe come on sis they're might be some hot girls there" he said elbowing me in the ribs I rolled my eyes "I'm sure" he smiled "call me if there are" I laughed and hit him " No way buster they're all mine" he faked a pout "but why?" I rolled my eyes "they're at MY work" he rolled his eyes "oookay" we both laughed then he got up "where are you going?" I asked " I gotta head home" he said picking up his jacket and keys I stood and jogged after him "okay I'll miss you" I said blowing him a kiss his face showed faked disgust and gave me the bird I smiled "love you Ollie" I said  " I love you too kid" he replied  over his shoulder as he walked down the hall and disappeared behind the corner I smiled and closed the door.
I walked into the strage new apartment and went to the middle taking a seat on the couch picking up my computer and  opened  Netflix picking a random romcom and got comfortable soon I dozed and went into unconsciousness.

I awoke to a strage beeping sound I looked around still a little groggy but the source remained out of site I unwillingly got up and walked around wondering into the kitchen the beeping continued coming from an undiscovered place but I was about to discover it I walked out of the kitchen and back I to the front room the beeping got louder and soon i realized it was coming from outside the door i groaned and walked to the door reluctantly opening it and walking out running into someone knocking them over in the process landing ontop of them a low groan came from underneath me I got up quickly to see a beautiful blond on the ground she had on black skinny jeans and a gray tank top her feat bare she looked up and smiled a beautiful set of perfect white teeth glistening I smiled back and held out my hand she took it "sorry about that I'm Storm I just moved in" she shook her head "No worries welcome to the...I'm not sure what to call it but whatever it is welcome I'm Anna" my smile grew "oh shit I gotta get to work, see you around?" I nodded and watched her run down the hall and around the corner I smiled "Anna" I whispered I'll remember that.
