And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...the plunder! After all, no Norseman (or woman!) ever went a-viking without the expectation of reward.
Similar to the 2018 Rune Awards, the top 3 winners of each genre will not be ranked from 1st to 3rd. Instead, they will each win one of the following titles;
Most Engaging Characters
Most Interesting Plot
Best Technical Skill
We will also be continuing The Bardic College's tradition of awarding an overall title as well. That's right; the prestigious 'Pagan Pride Award' is making a return in the 2019 Futhark Awards!
Each of the three genre title winners will receive the following prizes:
- A permanent add to a winners Reading List on The Bardic College's page
- A custom designed sticker for their book cover
- An in-depth review of their story
- An interview to be featured in The Bardic College's 'Victorious Valkyries' series
The Futhark Awards is also offering participant stickers for any entry that makes it past the first Round 1 elimination cycle! Previews of all stickers will be revealed at a later date.
The winner of the Pagan Pride Award will receive all of the above prizes, as well as an exclusive sticker for their book cover and a shout-out on both TheBardicCollege and GreenScholarTales pages.
