She was like a flower being watered by its owner when he called her in her name. Her feelings bloomed in a sudden like the petals of the flowers that brightened and reflected in daylight. It felt cringe, but butterflies suddenly touched the petals residing within her and it was tickling her.

It even sounds different when Chase calls her. His voice may have seemed wicked and dark, but it was sultry and full of comfort and content.

Ah, fuck! What am I thinking?

Hindi niya mapigilang tingnan ang lalaki. He was still leaning on the steering wheel but his head was looking at him.

She greeted the guard by bowing her head and showed her ID before she sashayed away. Yet, she could not help herself but looked back to see if she could see the car, and she saw it, but in seconds, it disappeared.

She sighed and smiled. She felt the dosage of her serotonins suddenly in high levels.

THE LAST CLASS that morning ended peacefully with annoyance with the man beside her. However, Clark was so noisy beside her while they were answering the quiz and she was grateful when he got scolded by their instructor.

She was looking for something, but she could not think of it.

Her mom. Paperbag. Lunch.

Nasa'n na?

She suddenly stood up and some of her classmates noticed her, but she did not care at all and looked at her bag. There was no paper bag on her bag and her bag does not even feel heavy at all.

She cursed herself in her thoughts and tried to think where it was.

"Are you okay?" Clark suddenly asked.

He looked surprised and worried.

"'Yong paper bag," sagot niya.

Dumikit naman ang mga kilay nito.

"Paper bag?"

"I don't know kung saan ko nalagay," she said briskly and pulled out her own hair with an obscure face.

The room was left with its advisory class and when they felt their presence, they looked at them.

They felt their intrigued eyes looking at them, but it went to the person beside him.
