I groaned as I walked into the pack house "I hate school." I muttered dropping my book bag next to the grand doors, "And I'm pretty sure it hates you to."

Rolling my eyes I spun on my heel coming face to face with the pack's slut "What do you want!" I spat "Clam down, I was just wondering if you found your mate yet?" she snickered I blushed and looked down what did Emily know anyway.

"That's non of your bu-business!" I stammered crossing my arms causing Emily to laugh "Whatever, I'm sure he'll just reject you." And with that she walked upstairs her heels clomping. She was lying I was sure enough there's never been an rejected wolf...right.

I watched as Jackson stormed down the staircase tears pouring down my face as I lay next to them my arm broken and bruised, I had told him I thought he deserved to know the truth but he wasn't happy I had rejected my own mate for him.

And he left me half dead and begging for mercy "Jackson I swear even if it kills me, I'll get you back. Somehow."

I closed my book and sighed I hope he doesn't reject me, I place my book on the nightstand next to my bed and slip under my covers I really hope I find him.

I ran downstairs still in my pj's I should have gotten dress before meeting him but I couldn't. Excitement had gotten hold of me. I followed the strong smell of Woods and Fresh air, pushing and shoving pass people, I reached the Beta's study room.

Confusion swept over me. why was he here, is he talking to my brother? I think about to reach out to grab the door knob when the door opens, MATE my inner wolf howled my eyes travel up and stare into the oh so familiar green eyes of my brother.

We both look at each other with shock and he looks devastated. "Lu-luke?" I choke out this was impossible my brother he - but - No! I opened my mouth but quickly shut it again watching as he ran a hand though his wild black hair. "Why..." Luke muttered looking away "Look Lily I... I Luke Skywalker, Beta of the Blue Moon pack, reject you, Lily Skywalker." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and left.

I stood there, starring at the spot where he just stood as reality came crashing down I was just rejected by my Mate.

Tears found their way down my face as I fell to the ground "Lily." a voice came "He-he rejected me, Tom, he doesn't L-love me!" I sobbed Tom dropped to his knees and hugged me.

Emily was right, she was. My mate didn't want me, then realization struck me, My own brother didn't want me.

I sat in my room, I didn't care if it was empty not now why would I, for I had bigger problems, sighing I fell back onto my bed was I destined to end up alone.

I thought about it I was gonna end up as a crazy cat lady, suddenly a crazy idea popped into my head. It was worth a try maybe I could find someone who cared for me, I nodded making my mind up.

I was running away. It wasn't like I was gonna be missed but I should still write a letter, so I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote.

I grabbed a few bucks off my dresser and stuffed my book bag with the few clothes I had. Swiftly and silently I climbed out my window, walking into the darking forest I looked behind me one more time, I so wasn't gonna miss this place.
